I'm sure it was lovely, but I think it's closed now. Couldn't find anything between the laundromat and the auto shop around the corner (besides a shuttered-up storefront on the corner)

The second hand store is a filthy mess and they most likely have a lot of germs in there

This place is GREAT! You can find anything and everything (I buy all my frames there) and the service is friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

I donated plates here a while back, but couldn't browse because the owner said she was closed, even though the door was open, so I just handed her the stack of plates. I went back a dozen times when it said online that the store was open, but it was always closed. I was driving by today I saw the door was open, so I finally got the opportunity to browse. The merchandise was really hard to see because things were haphazardly on top of each other, and most of the things were scratched/chipped/broken or had water damage. I found ONE cute little picture that wasn't damaged, so I looked up it's worth online before asking how much she was charging for it. It was $5 online-- and online it comes with an artist bio, not just a mat. (Screenshot attached) After she charged someone in front of me who was carrying a pile of things $8 for everything, I asked her how much for the little picture (this was a print reproduction, not an original limited print or artist proof or anything), and SHE SAYS TO ME: $20!!! I was astounded-- there were other pictures 10x the size labeled $15. It seemed really nervy to ask me $20 for a little picture at a secondhand junk store. I just said thank you and left. I can't help but think that because I am White-passing and was there with my Irish boyfriend, that she gave me a much higher price than she would have given me had I looked more like the other customer there. Really disappointing experience. When I went to the LI Trading Post in Bellmore, I got two pieces of wood furniture for a total of $10. I've never heard of charging customers $20 for one tiny decorative, not even functional, item at this type of store. THIS store, especially, because it was a really mess and hard to navigate (I had to leap over stuff in the aisles to get through-- the place should have citations for fire hazards), and I felt like I was at risk of getting bedbugs just by being in there.

This place is very confused and confusing. They actually have some very nice used items. Kind of like going to a very disorganized garage sale. There is no order to anything and if you want to know the price you need to asked because nothing is marked. It is fun to go in and poke around - even if you are not buying.

The owner of this store is very unkind. There was a storm and I was running in the street she closed the doors right away when I tried to seek refuge. Not to mention her attitude goodness very unprofessional!!!

Ella was so helpful. She helped me find someone to donate furniture to instead of throwing it away. She kept in contact with me during the entire time making sure that everything was went as planned. They are an asset to Long Beach.
