“Awesome food precooked from Kosher Meats yesterday. My daughter and I stumbled in while shopping in the center by accident. It was fate. There were meal deals in the window. 2 BBQ chickens, sides, soup pudding at a reasonable price and so delicious! Even my Jewish Mother-in-law loved it! Rugelach is my favorite!”

Their customer care and meticulous attention to detail is unmatched. The cake was huge, delicious, and the price unbeatable. I have a lot of experience buying custom cakes at bakeries in the area and I can confidently say no one comes close to Salpino’s on price and quality. And for me, the experience is just as important as the finished product, and Salpino’s wins on both. They are definitely my go-to for cakes from now on and I highly recommend!”

“Best caterer I have ever worked with. Party perfect in the pouring rain! First and most important they accommodated allergies and food intolerance. Food was amazing and endless. Good amount of leftovers without being wasteful. Handled set up themselves, cooked food to accommodate personal preference. Desert and cakes were also setup and served. On time, professional, fun to work with. My guest couldn't have been happier. Definitely calling them again for our next event.”

“I came here for fresh meats based off a recommendation from a friend and now I can't live without this place! I ordered a pork shoulder (pernil) and asked them to season it. They season it soooo well that my Latino friends think I made it. The fresh scent of seasonings permeated through my car on the ride home, and that's when I knew I would be a returning customer! Thus, all you have to do it pop it in the oven! Ive also had their marinated chicken (raw) and I just cooked it in the air fryer. If you are looking for a quality butcher and are "street savy" enough to go to Hempstead, this is the place. They also sell oxtails, ribs, pig feet (if that's what you are into) and fresh thick bacon.”
“Kollner's Prime Meats is the best butcher around RVC without a doubt. Kollner's meats are ALWAYS fresh - I've tried several other butchers in the area and couldn't say the same for those! Here the pricing is reasonable and whenever I place a special order the turn around is fast. I won't be using another butcher as long as I live around here. I'm super appreciative of all the great meals their meat has allowed me to prepare.”

“First off, I really like to give five stars to the places that I visit. But I just started going there regularly, and I need to see how things go. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable about meat. The store is clean and orderly, and well stocked. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have the cut of roast that I wanted, so I took a better cut at a higher price, of course. But all said I am very pleased. “The food is excellent here. Highly recommend dark meat schnitzel and the cole slaw. Split pea soup as well .They don't cook with a lot of salt because the kosher community they are serving is mostly older. This guy is a Huge fan of not adding too much salt. Basically every kosher takeout place known to man adds so much salt.”
