The absolute best. I have used their services three times over the past 10 years. From start to finish my experiences with this company was superb They were very quick and efficient which was importent to us since we were on a tight schedule They took great care in wrapping our furniture to insure nothing was damaged. What impressed us the most was how they handled a few pieces of furniture that were already damaged prior to our move. They actually repaired some of the items ! Awesome customer service from start to finish. !

The owner Eddie took care of me personally. He made sure my jet ski went from Long Island to palm beach Florida quickly and efficiently. Best service ever!!! Would highly recommend for any moving job!!

Received three boxes back with shattered glassware that had been securely bubble wrapped. We pay a lot of money for moving and storage and my family is distraught at the amount of sentimental things that were broken and destroyed. Terrible experience.

I used this company for a small shipment. The customer service was outstanding and they treated our family with as much importance as a family shipping a whole house. Christy was our contact through the process and she's an excellent resource for shipping alternatives.

Once upon a time they were very good. 24 years ago I used them to move to this house. I first called the DOT in 1995 and asked them for a good recommendation for a moving company. Their answer was, "You've got the best right down the road from you." They were correct. Davis was very good, and the price was right. I haven't had the need for a moving company in the past 24 years, but remembered how good they once were and decided to give them a call for an estimate for an upcoming move. A representative did set an appointment and came to the house, and fairly quickly I had an estimate. Some time passed and my wife and I decided to pare down the number of items we were going to move, partly to lower costs. I then called Walton P. Davis to ask them to return in order to reassess our move since so much had changed. I left message after message and was finally told that the sales rep I had been dealing with was tied up in Manhattan with meetings and that he would call me at the end of the week. I said I understood and waited for the call back. Figuring that a message may have been lost in the shuffle I decided to call again. The person I had been speaking to for weeks answered the phone and said again that the rep had been busy but that he'd asked her to call me to put me at ease, and that in fact he would be calling me. That was 2 weeks ago. Now, I might have been born at night, but I wasn't born LAST night. I can tell when I'm being put off. The only thing I can't figure is WHY. Trust me when I tell you that this company has changed drastically over the years, and not for the better. At this point, I'd have to be nothing but stupid to do business with them. Evidently, any quality of service or representation they may once have had is long gone. Do yourself a favor and spend your time researching movers that are not named Walton P. Davis. Useless. I feel I've dodged a bullet by not hearing from them. Shame, too, because I absolutely like to patronize local businesses, Especially ones that I know were once very good, and especially ones that are literally 30 seconds from my door.

If you are looking for the best moving company, look no further. We moved in Boynton Beach and could not be more pleased with the whole process from beginning to end. From the moment I first called and Christie answered I knew I had made the right decision. She is courteous and professional. Rob who managed the actual move was also wonderful to work with. The actual movers were careful with our furniture and also courteous. Moving can be a traumatic experience but Walton P Davis makes it as easy and smooth as possible.

A few weeks ago, I called Walton Davis to move some furniture for me. The furniture consisted of a beautiful seven-piece bedroom set, imported from Italy. Walton Davis gave me an estimate but never mentioned minimum hours or optional insurance. An armoire was moved by Walton Davis without any wrapping/blankets to protect the furniture. It was damaged significantly, with 8" of wood corner/edge chipped off. When I came to inspect the pieces after the move, one of the movers tried to tell me that the damage was "original". After I confronted with him, he confessed and showed me the broken piece that had been knocked off. It is approximately 8" long! The mover said to me he had glue at his home and he would come back tomorrow to glue together. I was surprised to find out how unprofessional in their moving (no blankets) and their offer for a quick fix. Later, at my request, the manager came to my house, he offered the same thing after he examined the damage. I also showed him where the movers dragged the furniture along my floor, scratching it. He said he would to repair the scratches tomorrow. The moving company is a local company. I was naí¯ve enough to believe they would do the right thing. I called up my furniture repair guy, he said the broken piece is very large and suggested I hire a professional to handle it. So I called Walton Davis again (the manager never showed up the second day as he promised), and told them what my furniture repair man advised. I only asked for $50 damage compensation to repair the armoire. The manager said they wouldn't pay because I didn't buy insurance (they never offered me the insurance in the first place). I paid 2 hours professional moving service (actually it only took them 1 hour, but they failed to tell me there is a 2 hour minimum.) and I only got ONE hour of unprofessional, reckless, and careless moving. They damaged not only my furniture, but also my floor and stairs. But worse than that is they refused to take responsibility to pay the professional repair fee.

Hired Walton P Davis company to move me from Manhasset on LI over to Connecticut and these guys were great. I was worried about a lot of my delicate, expensive, but mostly special items getting damaged, but nothing was. They came and packaged everything so securely and the guys were all polite and fast. So much better than my previous experiences with other companies in the past. Highly recommend!
