I have had a great experience with The Perfect Find from start to finish. I sent pictures of my pieces in and the owner agreed to take them. The furniture was picked up by experienced movers and was displayed beautifully in the shop. All my items did sell, some took longer than others due to the style of the piece. I would follow up regularly to see if my pieces sold and if they did, the check was sent out promptly the beginning of the following month. The shop definitely has some nice items in it so they do get a steady group of people in to look around. Wouldn't hesitate to use again!

I have been shopping at The Perfect Find for years. Not only is the shop lovely, but so is Zsuzsanna, the owner! Her store carries such elegant, beautiful and interesting pieces. I just bought a gorgeous mirror for my dining room--I love it! It truly is the perfect find! Go! Shop! Indulge! Enjoy!

I inquired about selling two pieces of furniture. When I called, the lady on the phone was extremely rude and demanding, and told me in a demeaning tone that I "have to send her photos first to see if it's something they're even looking for". I asked what number to send the photos of the furniture to, and she replied even more nastily, "THIS one". Like I don't freaking know... maybe this phone number listed online was a landline like a normal office/storefront business. Super rude and disrespectful right from the get go. I sent photos with full descriptions of the products I was looking to sell, and did not even receive a "no thanks, this isn't what we're looking for." Just ignored. Very poor customer service. I heard that they pick up your furniture, which is absolutely great, but take 50% of the sales once the item sells. I was just looking to get the pieces off my hands, but not to such a swampy business owner who wants to rob you on the way out of the door. I would never recommend consigning or shopping with this place, and it's solely off the nastiness and disrespect of the business owner in a 2 minute phone call and series of unanswered texts.

I have consigned both clothing and furniture before, but never had such a bad experience as dealing with this store. The owner promised she got better prices than other furniture consignment stores. This was so not true. I had practically brand new, high end furniture, which sold for no higher prices than any other consignment store such as the Attic Door in Oyster Bay. Most importantly, the owner is unprofessional and not forthcoming - basically a liar. Make sure you read the fine print on her contract - she will not tell you, that in spite of furniture sitting in her store for months, you cannot take it back. Once your furniture is in her possession, you have no idea if and when your furniture sells. When I lived up in Westchester, I dealt with a consignment store that immediately would send out emails as soon as pieces sold and for the amount they sold for. Once your furniture is in her possession, you won't hear a word. I would not trust this store if my life depended on it. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! Find a FB sight where you can sell on your own, or try the Attic Door. Much more honest!!!

I am a decorator and I always stop in here while in Locust Valley -- sometimes I find items for myself, sometimes for a client. There is a mix of antique, vintage and used things and sometimes you get lucky and find a little treasure. I have also sold some some chairs and tables here. My items took a while to sell, but it was better than them sitting in my basement collecting dust. I've had a good experience both buying and selling.

This store is filled with over priced items that don't seem to be in style anymore. Not sure why anyone would consign things with them. Not a good place to buy or consign. Stay away.!!!

There is a reason the tout ladies of the North Shore, top dealers, and designers all shop at The Perfect Find,...The owner has an exceptional eye for objects of BEAUTY. Whether it is major antiques from important estates or just charming decorative items, the store presents a treasure trove. The aesthetics are a treat!

I gave the PERFECT FIND beautiful furniture and accessories for consignment. Unfortunately, the care to the merchandise was negligent and pieces were damaged and ruined. The owner wouldn't even repair and only offered to lower the price. When she sold items it took many months to collect payment. Her favorite comment is, "The check is in the mail". If you went to the store to collect payment she said"The check was sent out to you". It's difficult and a frustrating experience dealing with them.
