I can’t recommend Petals florist enough. My family and I have been using them for years for various special occasions, parties, celebrations and just to brighten up our homes. Their flowers are so beautiful and fresh, the arrangements are done so well, and everyone who works at Petals is extremely kind. Thank you so much for everything!

Petals saved my wedding. I needed florals for the arbor at my venue at the last minute and called Petals 3 days before my wedding to see if they would be able to install swag on the arbor. They calmed me down and worked with me to get me what I envisioned. It came out better than I anticipated given the last minute request. I absolutely loved how it came out. It made my wedding vision complete. I would definitely work with them again in a heartbeat.

Petals was the florist for my wedding on 6/25/23 at the de Seversky Mansion, and I could not have been more thrilled with how the flowers turned out! Diana was such a pleasure to work with and truly listened to my requests and brought my vision to life even more beautifully than I could have imagined. She catered to specifics of what I was looking for in terms of color palette, budget, and aesthetic, with amazing attention to detail. She is willing to spend the time to get her clients exactly what they are looking for. I would 100% recommend her to any couples looking for a florist! Petals was recommended to us by our venue. I cannot say enough great things about our experience from beginning to end in working with Diana. She knew every inch of our venue, and was went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life. We went over all final details a couple of week before our wedding, and on the day of the wedding no detail was missed. Petals did the best job, and helped make our wedding day beyond perfect. Diana and her team at Petals are shining stars and delivered above and beyond our high expectations for our wedding. Diana spent many hours with me talking through details and desires in the 2+ years leading up to the big day. She was also flexible when COVID pushed our reception back. Working with her was just a real pleasure. And the follow-through was second to none! Everything Petals created was absolute perfection and my bouquet was so amazing it made me cry. The floral illusion arch pillars were better than any Pinterest pin I've ever seen, Diana nailed it and I am so grateful! We would absolutely recommend Petals Floral & Party Design of Locust Valley!

We had an amazing experience with Brian & team and we're so happy to give this review. My husband and I recently had our wedding at the Bailey Arboretum and we were unsure whether or not we even wanted to have flowers seeing as the Arboretum itself is so colorful in the Autumn. We waited until the week before the wedding to see whether the leaves had changed much, and when we learned they were mostly green still we decided adding a bit more traditional Fall colors would be essential. We didn't budget for the flowers, so in leaning on the Arboretums' in house wedding planner (Lisa) for a recommendation for florist... we made clear we needed someone who could work fast (just 1 week) and on a strict budget. She introduced us to Petals and the rest was history. In under a week we were able to nail down a concept, color palette, and design matching boutonnières for my now Husband and I, corsages for our Mothers and a distinct boutonnière for the Best Man. We had 1 phone call, exchanged multiple texts, and when we showed up at the venue on Saturday we were blown away by the end result. It was understated elegance. We would happily recommend Petals to anyone.

Our wedding was perfect, it was literally everything I'd ever dreamed of. Out of all of that, I need to express my utmost gratitude to Jess, Brian, Sharon, and the entire Petals team. Our event wasn't a huge one - 40 guests total and a pretty modest budget - but they treated us like celebrities. The displays were astonishingly beautiful and everyone kept commenting, to the point that they wanted to take the centerpieces at the reception home with them. Jess P. single-handedly stopped me from having a shrieking, sobbing bridal breakdown the moment she saw me in the Church parking lot, and her gentle take-charge attitude righted the ship, even though she had to deal with other members of our vendor team that had nothing to do with flowers. I honestly cannot recommend Petals highly enough for ANYTHING, from a simple date night bouquet to a grand ballroom wedding display. Hire them.

Diana and her team at Petals are absolutely amazing! Their gorgeous flowers and designs really enhanced the already beautiful De Seversky Mansion. They were very timely, delivering the flowers to my home and to the church. Diana really worked with us to customize and perfect the look! I will be continuing to use them for special occasions and the day-to-day flower pick me up =) !

We worked with Petals for our November 2019 wedding at the De Seversky in Glen Head. Although a preferred vendor for the venue, we were concerned that as a “local florist” Petals would not have enough creativity to make our event special. We’ve rarely been so gratified to be wrong! Diana and Jessica of Petals spoke with us several times on the phone and spent nearly three hours in person at their floral showroom carefully reviewing each and every option. Flowers are important to my family, and Diana and Jessica were an incredible help towards selecting the appropriate flowers to match our color scheme and design theme. I sent dozens of pictures of potential arrangements, centerpieces and chuppahs that we both did and did not like and Petals took the time to review all of our submissions and developed design options that spoke to our choices. Even our somewhat out-of-season selections of Ranunculus (buttercups) and Hydrangeas were accommodated, with large healthy colorful specimens. The bouquets were gorgeous and our chuppah was a showstopper. Throughout the process, which included design options such as chuppah lighting, candles and table arrangements, Diana and Jessica were patient, understanding and encouraging and perhaps most important of all responsive. Selecting florals become one of the tasks we most enjoyed.
