Absolutely a true "hands-on" market, great meat, produce & Deli superb, with Dave at the helm of the deli, always ready to help or prepare excellent food. If an item is not available, they will order it and service is what all employees are trained to do. Its my main stay for shopping and I am grateful they are in our small town of Locust Valley! Highly Recommend shopping here!

We shop @ LV Market on a regular basis so it was an easy choice to have them cater our daughter’s graduation party. I met with David and discussed what foods we wanted and he was very knowledgeable and helpful making our selections. The wrap platters he prepared were not only delicious, they were displayed thoughtfully and appealing. He even kept veggie wraps separated from meat wraps on an individual platter. The Antipasto and Cheese platters did not disappoint and were a big hit as well as the Bruschetta and Pickle and Olive Trays. Do not hesitate using LV Market to cater your next event. David will exceed your expectations!!!

I grew up in LV. Raised my kids in Huntington then moved to Jupiter Florida after retirement. I love to cook and source the best foods for my family. I shop quite a bit at Whole Foods and Fresh Direct. I still visit LV for the summer so I will frequent LV Market for basic needs. This place falls short in so many areas. It’s ok to charge exorbitant prices if you deliver a great product. They don’t! Limited meats and fish. And the ones they have are sub par. They survive on a aging demographic that just doesn’t want to leave LV. Get some high end grass fed meats. Wild caught fish. Organic fruit and veggies.

A very nice little, local grocery with good selections and great produce. The main reason I avoid going here is that for such a tiny store they are somehow unable to track what they have listed on sale. Their little yellow stickers clearly show what items are on sale but when you go to the checkout everything rings up full price. When you bring it to the cashier's attention they always look at you like you have 4 heads and say those items are not on sale. The burden is then on the customer to leave the line, take a picture of the items on sale and show it to them in order for them to honor their own pricing. On some occasions I just let it slide to not look like a cheapskate and hold up the line.

i went to Locust Valley Market today because I knew there would be no line. And I was pleased . I gathered the items I neededand was in and out of the store in 10 minutes.

The place is good but the staff working there is mostly men (not the cashiers) and they keep staring at women in a weird way, it is so uncomfortable

Some new lady had the audacity to question a twenty year old “who her parents were” and assumed I was a younger child feeding off my parents credit card when going to the checkout line. “Who are you””who are your parents?” Gone here my whole life and never been interrogated loudly in front of people for getting myself lunch. Put your energy into something else, not haranguing adults for being loyal customers. Seriously?

Got an attitude manager very rude to a complaining customer for she can’t find her receipt. No customer service and was insisting that she gave the receipt already in front with all the shoppers. Unbelievable!!!! I will never go this place again

Very friendly cashier. Store was very clean. Most of the fruit was very fresh with the exception of the melons. It was very easy to navigate and find everything in the store.

The LV Supermarket is a wonderful shop to have in our town. The shelves are always well-stocked, everything is orderly, the produce is fresh, and there's a nice selection of prepared foods and deli items. The staff is always helpful and they took great care to keep everyone safe during Covid.
