Office personnel was very rude! 3 people were complaining about how disrespectful the girls were. It was my first and last time there. What a shame because the veterinarian was unbelievably nice and very professional.

I will start by saying that we loved this practice, especially Dr. Kim, for over 10 years. However, our experience in the last 3 months definitely left us with more questions than answers. Our beloved furbaby, Odie, got very sick in late September. We went through multiple tests, including ultrasounds at their sister hospital, x-rays and blood work. We spent a lot of money on these tests, along with various medications and prescription foods. Odie was quickly going downhill, despite all our efforts. Throughout this time, we felt that Dr. Kim wasn't giving up on him, so neither were we. But, we realized that the situation was getting dire. My husband called on a Tuesday, only to be told that the Dr was off that day. She would call us the following morning and there was a 2:10pm appointment if we were told to bring him in. On Wednesday, no one called us until 4:15pm, even though we attempted to call twice that day. We put together a plan for Thursday, where we would've started him on new medication. When I got home, I took one look at Odie and KNEW he was NOT going to survive the night. I tried to call the vet because it was 5:40pm and the website says they're open until 6pm. Instead, I got their answering machine. Sure enough, our sweet best friend passed away at home that night. I called the vet when they opened the following morning to let them know. The receptionist expressed her sympathy as it was extremely difficult for me to tell her that he had passed. Knowing how hard we had been fighting for this dog's life, I fully expected to have received a phone call from the Dr to find out what had happened. But that phone call never came. I then expected to receive a sympathy card instead, but that never happened either. After all the years we came here, after the thousands of dollars we spent, we felt that was THE LEAST they could've done. Throughout the entire ordeal, we were told several times that "we needed to give this or that more time", even though we knew whatever we were doing wasn't working. There were several times we wanted him to be seen right away, only to be told the next appointment wasn't available until the following week. We lived with this guy for over 10 years and we knew things weren't right with him. In the end, we felt dismissed and neglectedby this practice. We felt like they were starting to think of us as being a bother instead of listening to our concerns. Yes, we could've taken him to the emergency vet that Wednesday when they didn't answer the phone. But we've had animals long enough to know that he was dying. We didn't want him to have to pass in some strange place and instead chose to let him pass at home, in his bed, with his family by his side. We were so heartbroken over this loss that we decided to get a new puppy right away to try and help us heal. But because of the lack of compassion at the end of Odie's life and the lack of taking our concerns seriously, we will be looking for a different vet for our newest furbaby.

This is my dogs vet since our other vet retired in Amherst. They are pretty good with getting animals in & not having to wait forever. Their prices have gone up but so has everything else. X

It says they are an emergency clinic but said they aren't accepting new clients. Which is funny because my dog has been there before so how would we be a new client?

This was an initial visit and we were more than pleased. We breed French Bulldogs and they are going to be a big help in many areas for us. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff.Update...we have now had 4 of our dogs in to see them and all has been well. We are currently working with a girl that is in heat and will be doing our first insemination soon.
