I purchased some items from this store and ended up not being able to use a couple of them due to space constraints. They were still wrapped in the original bag with tissue paper, and upon returning to the store 14 days later, I was informed that the return policy only covers returns for 7 days. The store employee called the owner to see what she would do because the items were untouched, and the owner only offered store credit for 75% of what I paid for the items a mere 7 days after their ridiculous return period. That was after asking multiple times if I would be buying anything else that day. I will not be shopping here again.

Unfortunately the staff aren’t very friendly or welcoming. Today one of the staff members was complaining at the register about the store, customers, and just overall was negative. I also saw her walking around slamming things around and on the ground. She seemed like she was not in a good mood and compared to other jobs in the world that are more pressing and stressful, this is one that I would think is fun to be at if you like being around people and being in retail. I’ve been here many times and I think only once has someone been kind. It should be a nice atmosphere to shop in but the attitudes make it unappealing. The decor is cute and some items are reasonably priced but not everything so you really have to look through to see if it’s worth it. I do miss when antiques were mixed in, like at the original location. Many of the items are made in China.

I bought a pair of electric candles and one was defective. When I went to return it they said it wasn’t within 7 days. 7 days!!?? At Christmas time are you joking?? I don’t live close. It was 14 days, no store, credit no refund, nothing! Do not shop there. Overpriced!!

I really wanted to love this store, I like the products and there is such a good selection, the customer service is lacking. As soon as I walked in we were greeted but the woman running the register seemed so bothered and so annoyed to be there . If you shop at a store like this you want to feel that warm and fuzzy feeling especially for a local owned business. I’m disappointed and probably will not be returning.

I used to love these stores. I shopped at multiple locations frquently. My husband was stationed in Arkansas for the military and about a year ago I ordered $120 worth of Fall/Halloween decor. The order never came. I opened a claim with UPS and they said that Tattered Tulip needed to update information on their end in order for me to be reimbursed. I have over 15 emails and messages going back and forth with Tattered Tulip where someone tells me "We'll get back to you" and no one ever does. I have also talked to the owner who was very lackadaisical while eating during the conversation acting like she was going to take care of it finally, she said she would get back to me and have it straightened out and never did. My mom went in several times to also talk to someone on my behalf and was told that they would take care of it. Until, the last time they told her that there was nothing they would do.Don't ever order from them online. If they aren't prepared to help people who dont get their orders they shouldn't try to sell things online, period. And their customer service is horrendous.And FYI East Aurora also has stores that carry many of the same products and lines in case you're looking for other options!
