Wantt to Alan the owner of nickel City Auto bought a 08 GMC envoy the owner said any thing that leaves my lot is 100 percent safe and up to ny inspection. Had a a noise coming out of the pipe that meets the exhaust manifold took it to a garage local to me to fix the leak and get a call from the mechanic that the frame is rotted on the passenger side front end and covered with multiple patches of medal welded to cover it up .the garage said it should have never been sold,it is un safe to drive and should of never passed nys inspection the mechanic would not even touch it to fix the leaky exhaust. I called the owner Alan of nickel City told him about it he admitted to knowing about the the patch welds on the frame and never told me when I bought it. He said his mechanic said it was safe to drive with the welded patch job, his mechanic is the one that inspected illegal. Al an the ower said if the exhaust leak bring it up to him and moroe muffler and brakes he would have fix it at no cost to me.instead I took it to a licensed nys inspection dealer I paid to have it reinspected they failed the vehicle for a rotted out frame with the repairs were not adequate he sold me a a unsafe vehicle that was illegally inspected by his mechanic and I said it was safe to drive . The owner is a crook an will screw you over out of a lot of money be careful not to by anything you can not have put on a lift and check out your self dont believe a thing dealers say. I faxed the owner at nickel City the failed nys inspection paper ,he gave me a full refund on the vehicle.he know it was unsafe to drive and illegally inspected it. He was not happy with the out come . Be careful he will probably try selling the car to someone else. Be smart and have any vehicle you by reinspected by your own mechanic you trust. If I didn't I would be stuck with a 3 year loan and a vehicle in the junk yard. It's worth $21.00 for a inspection to save thousands from a corrupt car dealer like at nickel City Auto because the dealer at nickel City Auto took. The vehicle back in his possession there is nothing the DMV vehicle safety office can do to go after this dealer if I didn't return it they would of investigated this dealer for fraud if it was still in my possession. The laws sucks lotting a corrupted dealer screw the little guy again. Watch because that vehicle is probably going to be resold and screw over another costumer. Just be smart if you can't look under the car on lift. Or test drive it walk away.....

Anyone, Nickel city auto what do you think? Anyone since my wife and her uncle thought it was a good idea to buy a car from him tell me why the bumper is held on by zip ties, the shocks are gone and when after Allen (the dealer) was told the check engine light was on he quickly plugged in a 15 dollar odb2 sensor to shut off the code and say everything was fine. I asked him what the code was he removed, it was 420..I asked him if he knew what that code was.. he said he didn't know and I told him I wasn't that high (lol) i knew the code... that code is your catalytic converter and all he did to fix it was the same thing he did to sell it... drop the code.. here's pics under the hood

I bought a 2009 ****** ******** from Nickle City Auto. Had over 100,000 miles so its more or less as is. BUT, the 3 month warranty was what made me go there. Pick up had a few problems, everything was covered under the warranty insurance. Everything got fixed. Haven't had any problems since. Mechanic accepted the insurance and everything was fixed within 24 hrs. The salesman was honest about the questions I had. I've got no complaints. Very happy with my purchase.

Pretty up front individual, see I feel like if you're going to buy a car it doesn't matter where it comes from you should do your due diligence before you commit to anything the experience that I had with nickel City Auto was top notch ,very respectful ,and doesn't let you leave unless you understand completely. So if anybody has a negative review shame on you You didn't do your due diligence. God bless you all

I got a 2008 mercury mariner premier and it ran fine when I first took it for a test drive. My first few days I stalled on the side of the road with my kids. He “fixed” the radiator. The. I stalled again and couldn’t get it to click or anything I had to get a whole new steering column. Then I got my oil changed and they charged me 200 dollars because there was so much oil in it. I had to fix my tires because stuff happened with them. I had to get a whole new exhaust system muffler and my coolant reservoir was leaking. I’ve only had it a year and still paying on it and can’t even get it to start.

It's hard to describe my experience here when there really wasn't much of one. I walked in and tried to finance a 2010 honda civic. I got approved for the car right away but I'm pretty sure the guy didn't even run my social security for backround check. I tried calling and asking for a test drive and he said yes but when I actually went there for the test drive, the guy wasn't even there and the place was closed early. I called and asked about the honda again and the owner got angry with me just for asking if the car is in good condition. He promptly hung up on me. Do not go here, there are many red flags about this guy.

I purchased my 2010 Dodge Caravan on 11/10/2021… on the 11th check engine light came on, he “repaired it” 7 days later check engine light again came on. After 4 phone calls he finally answered the phone to me they “repaired” it, 31 days… today is legit 1 day passed warranty and check engine light on again. I went to a mechanic who read o2 sensor, cadylic converter, muffler shot, and the safety mechanism on the shift is by passed and you can legit shift my vehicle without the key in the ignition!!! I had him on speaker when I was here with the mechanic and the mechanic called him right out, all he ever did was clear the codes. This vehicle has over $6,000 worth of repairs needed and they sold this garbage to me for $7,000 thirty days ago. So as I’m going over this extended warranty he sold me I notice he sold me a vehicle according to the bill of sale with 135,200 miles? Funny the inspection that was on it when I bought it reads 136,798? I should have looked at the bill of sale and I would have noticed the 1,000 mile difference. He’s a shiester. I will be heading to small claims court Monday. I am stuck in a vehicle loan now with a garbage vehicle. His extended warranty that I signed may not even cover the repairs because the mileage difference between what he wrote on there and the actual mileage on the vehicle!!!! Talk about taking advantage of someone.

If you want to be financially ruined by a vehicle while a shark hides behind a warranty, definitely buy here! I have now paid more out of pocket to fix my car than I paid to own it. Any repairs done under that warranty should be instantly inspected by a reputable mechanic because ppr does fake band aid repairs to save money. Buyer don't beware. Buyer go anywhere else.
