What I liked- the convenience, the atmosphere and I loved that there was a nightlight in the bathroom. What I didn’t like- no bedside lamp and not having tables on both sides of the bed. Where’s the other person going to put their glasses and drink?
Noteworthy details: Has two level two chargers with 2 plugs each.

The room had no heat. Mgmt is also saving pennies by not having only warm water instead of hot water.
Location is very easy on and off from both 90 and 81

Horrible experience!! I booked through Hotels.com and got a confirmation email. When I reached the hotel, the receptionist could not find my booking. After an hour on the phone with customer service, I was told the hotel is overbooked and they have no room available for me so they cannot accommodate me. Is this a flight or a hotel?? Which hotel gives wrong information to a booking website creating trouble for guests who are traveling and are tired?? Apparently this Hilton does!! Stay away from this hotel!!

When I was booking my stay, I had some questions that I needed to ask so the call center employee transferred me directly to the hotel. I spoke to Brooklyn who answered all of my questions & then some. She was super helpful, friendly, & knowledgeable about the hotel & area. Upon arriving, I got to meet Brooklyn face-to-face. She was just as friendly as she was on the phone. Initial view of the hotel was that it was contemporary design with a cozy feel. It looked very clean. Walking up to & into my room I was able to continue to feel like it was very clean. I had read other reviews about a musty smell, but no smell anywhere - lobby, hallways, elevator, or room. A nice touch was multiple boards hanging on the wall by the elevators with restaurant suggestions, local places to visit, etc. I thought it was a nice touch. The room has a minimal amount of furniture but everything works well together and gives the room a great vibe. The room was a little warm when I entered, but a quick, easy adjustment on thermostat fixed it within minutes. The bed was super comfy. Bed & bedding looked very clean. The room & bathroom also were extremely clean. The bathroom continues with the modern style. It is well-lit & even has a nightlight for night time! They offer complimentary soap, lotion, shampoo, etc. They also provide a hair dryer, iron, ironing board, & refrigerator for customers to use. They have a quite a variety of snacks and drinks for purchase at the front desk. They have unique areas to hang out in the lobby with big flat screen tvs on the wall too to make customers feel more at home. The breakfast has a small variety of eggs, sausage patties, cereals, oatmeal, muffins, toast, bagels, milk & juice, and the pancake maker. It is a small automated oven that makes pancakes. This hotel as 2, but one was completely non-functioning & the other was having major problems. Another customer had gotten an employee to get it working again & after quite a lot of working on it, the maker made 2 extremely small pancakes. I was next and it wouldn’t work yet again so I got the same employee who messed with it some more and it ended up making 1 more very small pancake. I ended up eating other items with my tiny pancake. Breakfast was fair to good but was included with stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would look for a Tru at other destinations I plan to visit.
Rooms: Rooms are super clean. Bed is extremely comfortable. Minimal design and furniture. The furniture pieces work in the room very well. No carpet but floors are not cold. Room has a small refrigerator for customers use. Also has an iron & ironing board, blow dryer, and shampoo, soap, etc. all for customer’s use.
Safety: It was very safe. I traveled alone and felt very comfortable walking to and from my vehicle many times throughout the day and into nighttime.
Food and drinks: Complementary breakfast is okay. They have 2 pancake machines, 1 was down and the other was not working either until an employee tried fixing it. It made 3 very small pancakes and the person before me took 2 and I took the last, only to find out it was done making any pancakes even. If small. The employee could not get it up and working again.

My husband and I stayed at Tru by Hilton Syracuse North Airport Area for the Pink concert, and overall, we were pretty happy with our experience. This was our first time staying at a Hilton, and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and spacious, and we appreciated the modern design, though we did notice there were no rugs, so the floor felt a bit cold without slippers. The blanket provided was also thinner than expected, but the staff was incredibly friendly and quickly brought us an extra one when we asked.
We really enjoyed the snack bar, although some of the frozen meals were a bit pricey and freezer-burnt. On the plus side, the breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts we've ever had—definitely a highlight of the stay.
Overall, a good experience, and we'd consider staying here again.

Our room was very nice, clean, and free of defects in workmanship. The bathroom was sparkling, no cracked plaster, seals, or failing tiles. The beds and pillows are comfortable, and I appreciate the different kind of pillows. 2 were allergy free down alternative and another that had the density & feel reminiscent of a down pillow. We slept like babies.
The decor is very minimalistic, as it is throughout the hotel.
We had a handicap ♿️ room, which was large and accommodated my electric scooter.
The halls are long so if you have trouble walking there might be rooms available near the elevators.
The breakfast was better than most. Check out the automatic pancake maker! Fascinating! Wave your hand, put a plate at the end and you have pancakes! It even has a viewing window to watch the process! So cool!
One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Will be using Tru hotels when we can!

Great service at this hotel! Very clean facility and rooms. Friendly front desk and breakfast attendants. Location isn't the best - given that its a small lot - situated between Super 8 and McDonalds. Also, it's hard to take a left into the hotel if coming straight off I-81.

Nice hotel. Liked the decor. Liked the breakfast although pancake machine had problems a couple of days. Rooms very clean; much better housekeeping service than hotel across the street. Did not like that water was warm and not hot. Did not like thermostat that would turn off a/c when temperature is reached; very annoying is wanting a good night sleep. Would consider coming back for short stay.

Breakfast is good! Amenities are also fine.
The only issue was that the Air conditioner had limited control. It keeps on turning on and off rather than keeping the fan on for circulation. Tends to get very annoying when trying to sleep.

It was fine for a night…the staff was friendly and my room seemed clean but “bare bones.” There isn’t much to them and everything in the hotel screams “thrifty” but that’s not necessarily a problem if you don’t need many amenities. The only real issue I had is that the entire building smells musty. It’s not as noticeable in the rooms but the lobby and especially the hallways have a damp and dirty smell to them mixed with cigarette smoke.
