When I ordered parts for my 8.3 Cummins repair project, they suggested a few additional pieces that would likely be needed. Taking their advice, we ordered what they recommended. We ended up needing every piece they sent with nothing left over. That kind of knowledge is priceless, but the price was also very fair. I am so glad I found these guys!

Long time customer here as shop did my 327 engine build back in 2004 for my '67 Nova and engine still running strong! Have also brought in various parts over the years such as timing covers, crossovers, intake manifolds and many other parts such as exhaust manifolds with broken off bolts. They have done a great job with my parts and even with machine work, such as milling. Brian and team do excellent work! Highly recommended.

Brian and his crew did an above average job with machine work and partial assembly of my European built MG engine. I highly recommend Syracuse Crank for your average to high Preformance engine work.

I just called for some pricing on an engine I'm overhauling. I got put on hold for about ten minutes. When someone from the machine shop finally answered he acted like I was a bother. All I wanted was pricing on having machine work done. That's what they do. He said that their aren't many machine shops around that do this kind of work any more and he wasn't going to stand around on the phone with me discussing pricing. I tried to explain all I was trying to do was get some kind of budget number. He responded by telling me how much work he has laying around the shop and to just bring everything down and he would look at it. Here's a news flash I will never bring anything to a shop that acts like they are the only game in town. Secondly if they continue to treat customers like they don't matter, some of that work he was describing may just go other places because of the way they treat potential customers. I have done business with Syracuse Crank in the past but will never do business with them again. If you are reading this I suggest you look else where for your machining needs. I am.

When I needed an engine rebuild, I wasn't sure what direction to go. My car wasn't even in Syracuse, but hours away. Everyone had a friend who had a friend that I should call. I reached out to a high school friend who has had many Mopars over the years. He basically said that there's only one guy to call, Brian Osborne at Syracuse Crank.Brian took on the project like it was his own. It wasn't about getting it out the door quickly to take on the next engine. It was about doing it right, down to every detail. The engine came out perfect! During the project, communication was key, and the team was always available. I still have questions months after the rebuild, and Brian is still available to help.I would definitely use them again, and would recommend Syracuse Crank to anyone who wants it done right the first time.

I have dealt with Syracuse Crank and machine since the late 80s Brian and Jay are both very knowledgeable in engine rebuilding no matter if it’s a a stock rebuild daily passenger vehicle, a big individual diesel, a race engine or high performance marine engine. Their craftsmanship is always done with pride.

I have had several complete engine rebuilds (mopar 6 paks & Yenkos) done by Brian as well as a few complete overhauls on diesel tractor engines and am very satisfied with his work. I have quite a few more to take to him and I refer anyone I know needing machine work.
