I have been going to Colleen for 26 years and I truly cannot say enough about how great she is. She is like visiting family at our appointment every year. Always goes above and beyond to help us understand our taxes. The gentleman she has at the front desk is so professional and kind as well.

Matt at the front desk is so RUDE! And he has a sign there about complaining to him because he gets so many complaints. Who does this guy think he is, I drop taxes off 6 weeks ago. I call Friday 6 weeks later and he says ok Colleen will get to them i said ok but the deadline is approaching he says she has not got to your drop off date yet. I said do you know when she will? ...he says "ummm when she gets to your drop off date!" Why did you take the return if you were not going to do them before the deadline? and it's a 1041 ...simple ...that goes into the 1040. Ugh can't believe someone treats others like that. Great business face Colleen, do others a favor if you don't have the time sday I can't accept them instead of leaving clients in a pinch.

I don’t even want to give one star. They lose paperwork and then blame you. Extremely rude and insulting. They won’t lose the check for payment tho, they cash that at the speed of light.

Love it here. Always trust worthy and mindful, especially the front desk gentleman. He is so accommodating to all my cares and always makes sure I cover all my tracks. They are like family here.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST:Colleen made mistakes on my tax preparationsand refused to accept responsibility for them which ended up costing me later after the State of New York audited me. She is rude, disrespectful and obnoxious as well her front desk staff. Not at all a professionally run operation. I give KURTZ TAX SERVICE A —10

Colleen completely disregarded and disrespected my family. After years of my mother going to her, she left her drowning in 10s of thousands of back taxes that we were baffled by. 6 years after the tax year in question, a notice was received claiming substantial debt. When Colleen was asked, she simply told my mother to call the IRS and figure it out. No further help or explanation was offered.A 71 yr old woman living on SS and struggling to pay for meds now had to "figure it out." We still have not done so.Stay far far away.

I've been having my taxes done there for years; first by Charles Kurtz and then by his daughter, Colleen D. Colleen is fantastic. She remembers details from year to year, she knows my circumstances so it's very personalized attention to my tax return. She's professional, quick, does a great job and her office staff is friendly as well.

Many ears ago a friend recommended Kurtz and I've been using them ever since. Colleen Duffy does a fantastic job. She remembers me and the details of my taxes so it's very personalized service, even though I only see her once a year. She's professional, organized, efficient and knowledgeable. She's quick and reasonably priced. Her office staff is friendly and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Went there for many years and ended up leaving because the front office staff was rude and full of excuses when I needed to get some additional follow up. They are only interested in volume but no support when it is needed beyond a simple filing. Phone calls do not get returned and many excuses. Total train wreck... a one star rating is generous.
