The rooms were very comfortable, nice and clean. The service was very good as well. The hotel itself is conveniently located next to many dining and shopping areas.

This is a great hotel at a reasonable price. All the amenities you will want and helpful staff. Ian at the front desk was very helpful.

One of my technicians stayed here and this week, and the heater did not work for two nights. They had maintenance look at it and said it was working, but it only blew not cold air, and would not raise the temp in the room. He ended up booking at a different hotel for his last two nights.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Easy to get to. Wish we could access streaming services on the TV, but not a huge deal.

The manager and this place is awesome. If I can give them 10 stars, I would. He helped me in more ways than another, if you’re ever in town and you need a Hotel to stay I would say choose this one the managers, staff this experience it’s just been through the roof. It can’t be compared hands down the best hotel in Syracuse awesome hilt, the Hilton keep more people like this on your portfolio.

Hampton Inn in Clay NY is the place to stay if you are going to Syracuse NY. The rooms were big and spacious. The service was great. I ended up leaving my acid reflux medicine at home. I'm sure everyone has ran out on a trip and forgot something home. So about 11pm last night I went down to the front desk looking to buy some Tums or Rolaids, because normally they have a little store at the front desk that has things like that just in case you do forget something home. So I go down to the front desk and the guy working Ian, said that they didn't have anything for heartburn or acid reflux. I was preparing to run to a gas station or something looking for some. Mr. Ian says to me, I actually have acid reflux issues as well and even though we don't sell them I do have some personal Rolaids or Tums in my car and if you want you can follow me out and I will give you a few of mine. I offered to pay him for them and he wouldn't take any money. Mr. Ian DEFINITELY made our stay a lot easier and a lot better. The hot tub was functional and the water was amazing. The pool was nice size. Both were very clean and up to par. The breakfast was amazing as well. Eggs, oatmeal, bacon, red potatoe home fries, apple cinnamon waffles or regular waffles, all assortments of bread and bagles for toast, cereal, fresh sliced fruit or apples, bananas, and oranges. Orange juice, apple juice, water, or strawberry kiwi enhanced water. Everyone was very nice and respectful. They were there for anything we needed. We checked a couple of different places because thGreat New York State Fair is going on in Syracuse NY right now. All the othe hotels were "over charging." The same hotel chain in carrier circle wanted $350 for one night plus tax. Then there was a Marriott across the street from that one that wanted $400 a night plus tax. They are all over charging due to the State Fair. However we found this Hotel Hampton Inn and Suites in Clay NY which isn't far from the State Fair for normal rates. We ended up driving 16 minutes from Carrier Circle for half the price and honestly just by being in the lobby of all the different places, the Hampton Inn and Suites in Clay had the nicest looking lobby, hot tub, pool, and staff in my opinion by far. Thank You Ian and the rest of the staff at Hampton Inn and Suites in Clay NY. We will definitely be coming back to see you all the next time we comeback out to the Syracuse area. I would've given you all a 10 if it would've allowed me. Ian Bro, you definitely were a life saver. Thank You for being who you are.

On 8.16.2023 I had an unexpected event that caused me to cancel my trip to Syracuse the day before arrival. Therefore, I had to cancel my non-refundable reservation at this Hampton Inn through Expedia.I know what it means to be non-refundable, but jeez, how about a little compassion? The event was out of my control, and I'm missing my Nieces wedding and time with Family.@ Hampton Inn property owners....dump the stupid rule.

Delightful hotel near Syracuse. Friendly reception staff. Although the hotel is older, the rooms are clean with a good mattress and a large bathroom. Breakfast is better than the usual at this type of hotel (Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, etc).Convenient location with Wegmans across the road and lots of restaurant choices nearby. Walk across the property to Outback Steakhouse without needing your car.

We had a great stay as a family for two nights here on father's day weekend. I did notice one person walking a dog, so I guess they are pet friendly too. Check-in was a breeze. The kids had such a fun time going back and forth between the pool and hot tub. For breakfast, the staff was so kind and their food was decent. We will definitely be returning.

The staff are great but the building is in disrepair and is not clean. Elevator sounded sketchy, our room had hair on the shower, floor smelled strongly of weed, and the vending machine on our floor didn't work. Vending machine on another floor ate half my money. Thankfully this wasn't a multi-night trip. The weed smell alone was sickening.

My wife and I were very impressed with both the kind, solicitous staff and the clean and comfortable accommodations here. The location was also excellent for us, being next to both a Wegmans supermarket and a Barnes & Noble bookstore. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly!

Stayed at this hotel last summer and it was greatIn my recent stay, the room had a mildew odor. Other than that it was fine.
