the store is adorable with unique children's selections - but I bought a onesie as a gift and it was 30.00 which seemed extremely overpriced - the owner called me personally and rectified the issue .... I am very pleased with both the environment of the store, the contents and the customer service.

I love a local bookstore with a small curated collection and helpful staff - this was our second time in this store the first time was a better experience. This time, I took my two kids to select a book each and we were the only customers in the store. Unfortunately, the two people working were having a personal conversation while unpacking boxes and they hardly acknowledged us as we entered. My daughter wasn't having any luck and I couldn't find anything appropriate for my son. I walked past and looked at the staff/owner (?) several times but there was never a break in their conversation. As we left I said loud enough for them to hear me that I was disappointed in a small independently owned bookstore that doesn't offer help, we may as well go to Barnes and Noble. The man then acknowledged we were there and looked at us wide eyed. We did go to Barnes and Noble and we were offered help several times. I want my daughter to explore new kinds of books instead of the same series she's used to but without knowledge of the store's collection, I was of no help at the Golden Bee.

My new favorite place! I LOVE this book store. Everything about... It’s lovely, charming, and unassuming. The organization is a book lovers dream. Gabi helped us out today and she was wonderful! She went above and beyond and was so welcoming. I also happened to pick up her mystery book (it’s gift wrapped as a surprise)… it has a little bit of a description of what you’re getting and it turned out to be a book that’s on my I’m dying to read list! Perfection in a shop.

The store was clean, well lit and had a varying amount of items in addition to books. There were stickers and candies and other cute gift items as well. I'm glad I went to visit the store with my wife first as we noticed that there were several books with questionable content that may not be suitable for everyone.

Golden Bee Bookshop deserves a solid 5 stars! The inviting atmosphere, well-chosen and inclusive selection, and friendly staff make it a delightful spot for book enthusiasts. Highly recommend!

If I could give it 10 stars I would! An amazing selection of books and book-related merchandise, useful resources, community events, gorgeous decorations, and the sweetest staff members you’ll ever meet. My sister and I go as often as we can. Not to mention the cute coffee shop and beautiful view nearby, which only heightens the Main Character experience. Highly recommend! ?
