My daughter's car was towed to G&V Auto Care a few weeks ago after the car stopped moving off I 90. We're in the Rochester area and it would be costly to have it towed here. The mechanic John quickly gave us what the issue was, was very up front on the repair cost and timing to be fixed. He was easy to reach, professional and the car was back up and running. If I lived in this area this would be a service I would use and feel this shop is an asset to the area!Service: Transmission

I'll attempt to keep a long story short.Got ran off the road in my Genesis.Bent a dealer only part and could not find a shop that had the ability to locate what I needed.I kid you not, 1 call to John on Wendsday, and my car was done Friday.A handshake and a good conversation don't go a long ways in today's world, John and his crew are the exception.I can wholeheartedly say I'll be getting my car serviced no where else but G&V.John and the boys are the best of the best, no exceptions, absolutely thrilled with my experience here, recommended, and my wreck was amended.Back on the road traveling already.Services: Steering & suspension repair

It’s always scary having to build trust with a new Mechanic when you move, wondering if they’re going to tend to your car with the same care as your last mechanic. As soon as I walked into to G&V all my stress was lifted. They are kind, knowledgeable, hardworking and very down to earth people. They always fit me in, they never overcharge me, and they have solved any car issue I’ve had since moving to the Syracuse area (which is to say quite a few bc my car is a 21 year old Subaru). If you want a mechanic you can rely on, I would take your car here.

I have had alot of work done at G&V my daughters car and my father but last couple of times been a run around and like I said It seemed like I was not a paying customer they never did anything about my check engine light they just reset it and I asked them to fix it is small vap leak I did get my shocks done in back end but my care was there over week and I called 3 times and they were always to busy to give me a price or to talk about check engine I finaly called back said I was picking up my car I was very nice then they said they had time for me I know they just reset the check engine cause its back on they were nice and did good work and the last two times have not been good they seem to busy and I was bothering them I thought about this review because I wasnt going to do this I am paying customer and It didnt seem like it like i said they always do good work but they seem like they just will fix one thing so you have to bring it back in again they never just fix the proplems I dont want to keep bringimg it back when they can just do it all when its there I guess just to busy with other cars I have a code reader and still small vap leak p0442 I will get it fixed thanksService: Engine repair
