A heater hose connection broke on my minivan 2 miles from Cicero on 481. I limped the car there and started making calls , explaining that I was headed to Penneville from three hours away in PA . After contacting several so called repair shops who wouldn’t even consider helping me , I contacted Big Mikes garage . He said he’d get me right in and three hours later I was on my way . Great guy , excellent work and fair prices . Goes to show there are still a few good guys out there , thanks again Mike !

Big Mike's is without a doubt, the best car service center in CNY. They keep diligent records of repair history which is helpful for warranty coverage. They help you understand the repair and the reasons for it and are a very nice crew.

I brought my 2018 Infiniti Q50 to Mike because my driver side door was locked and unable to open. Due to this strange circumstance the door panel would have to be damaged to fix the problem. He suggested that I take it to the dealer but you know the dealer will leave you in tears after you get the bill. After talking again he accepted the challenge. Not only did they fix the problem but for a fraction of the cost without damaging the door panel! It’s hard to find a community auto shop like this anymore. Real people that genuinely care! I’ll be a customer for life!

When to the Nissan Dealership
Because the had a loaner
And Big Mike did not
Very personable gentleman
He has a tow truck
And The Nissan dealership
Did not,costed 243$ for the tow

Mike has been my mechanic since I moved to the area. He is honest, dedicated, and works to give vehicles the work they need without bleeding customers. His work is top notch and offers discounts for paying cash and getting all your brake work done there. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough great things about Big Mike's. They were phenomenal. He got me in on an emergency and went above and beyond. He didn't over charge and wouldn't let me pay a penny more than I was supposed to. I still wished they would have let me buy them all lunch! They are truly a gem. I can't thank them enough!!! Big Mikes?… More like a big Headache. I took my car here because I felt the power steering was off and I also wanted an oil change. I was called and told an oil change would cost $71 and to drive test it was about another $65 to figure out the power steering. I thought this was a bit pricey but my car was already there so I went ahead and gave the thumbs up on that. I then receive a call being informed that it was most likely the steering shaft and to dig in and look at it would cost me $700+…. just in labor Really? I decided not to go ahead with this. I am originally from the Rochester area so I decided to get a second opinion from my guy back home, 1st off he (my guy back home)charges nothing for a test drive ( as do most mechanics FYI) and he came back to tell me all that was needed was some lubricant. Cost less than $20. So happy I said no as I already feel robbed from what I spent at Big Mikes, do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place they don’t know what they are doing or talking about.Service: Steering & suspension repair
