Went there for a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle. The guy that inspected it (I think he's the owner too) actually cared and made sure to alert me to a number of things and educate me on what exactly might be of concern in them. He also told me about questions I should ask the dealership. He was very straightforward and wasn't influenced one bit by the presence of the dealership's representative there. On the contrary, he told me in his presence to go on Facebook market to gauge the price and see if I was being charged fairly. He generally gives off a very honest/direct/fair vibe. Genuinely recommend.

I took my vehicle to Bayberry Auto for some brake work. John explained what the problem was and quoted me the cost up front. The work was done in a timely , professional manner. The techs and office staff were very cordial and friendly. I will use Bayberry Auto for my service needs and I would recommend them to others.

It was a return to the friendly confines of Bayberry Automotive for an oil change and vehicle inspection. The nice things I wrote about them last time - I could have simply copied last year’s review and put it here. They are definitely the most attentive to customer service of any garage I know. And it’s not cloying or performative - they are genuinely nice people who value their customers. Back at ya, Bayberry Automotive ????

John took the time to discuss all aspects of what the problem may be. I felt very comfortable with repairs that were done. Bayberry Auto made me feel like I matter and wasn’t in a hurry to just get my keys and shove me out the door. I definitely would recommend them anyone who needs their car serviced if repaired. My daughter brought her 2015 Honda CRV to Bayberry Automotive last week because she heard a grinding sound while braking. Up until this point, I have always taken charge of the 5 vehicles in our family, but since she will be moving to Liverpool next month, she decided to find a local auto mechanic to take care of this herself. All of our vehicles had been serviced by a friend who recently retired as a certified Honda technician from a Syracuse Honda dealership. 3 years/30,000 miles ago he had replaced one of the front calipers, both rear calipers along with all 4 sets of pads and rotors on her CRV. He also performed a brake service on her car twice each year. I could understand that the one caliper which hadn't been replaced had seized up and needed replacement. Although in the past, we have only replaced the bad caliper and not both sides, I can also understand the argument that they should be replaced in pairs. What I don't understand is why her rear brakes and rotors were replaced after only 30,000 miles. My experience with rear brakes is that they should last 60 - 100, 000 miles. I called the owner, John, who said they were an honest repair facility and the back brakes and rotors needed replacement. John may be honest, but I think the tech who worked on her car may have been trying to pad the bill. Also, their labor rate is $20 - $32 per hour more than 2 other places I checked with, and quite more expensive than my friend who works out of his home garage. I'm very disappointed and will make sure my daughter finds another place to take her car.
