My favorite place on Long Island! I grew up in Lindenhurst and it’s so amazing to have a spooky place that would’ve made my teen years infinitely better. This place is so inclusive, welcoming and warm, the community the owner has built is so refreshing to see. Every time I walk in there’s so many new things and I am so happy to see it grow!

I’m all for horrors and spooks and taxidermy, but this store is really irresponsible when it comes to taxidermy. They have no clue where it’s sourced, and all of them are in improper jars and evaporating chemicals which is not safe for the pieces or to handle…. Not to mention everything is overpriced and basic in here too, with a very poor selection of items…. Very dissapointed as I was excited that I stumbled upon this place. If you care about animals, please educate yourself on ethical taxidermy and don’t buy from edgy sketch places like this!! When I asked if any of it was ethically sourced/where it’s sourced from, one of the ladies was very confused and like appalled that I asked and just admitted that they buy it randomly, and the other lady like rudely snapped at me saying “they don’t kill animals for art” when they literally do…. Not a hater I’m just very upset as a taxidermy and animal hobbiest….

WOW! Strange Love Parlor is not just an awesome place to get your hands on some weird and wonderful things, nope, they have strange and sexy events too. I just attended Kat's Witchy Bar Crawl and it was absolutely everything Lindy has been needing. So well organized and super fun with tons of feminine goodness. I can't wait for all of her other in-house events. Burlesque is next! Thanks for bringing your beauty to Lindy!

The Parlor is such an incredibly unique shop filled with oddities that you can’t find anywhere else on Long Island. The products range from antique, to handmade, to rare, and many are from other small, woman-owned businesses! Cat has cultivated an entire community with her shop and has always made me feel welcome in her spooky, horror-loving community. Jackie and Lisa have been so helpful and kind when I’m shopping or at an event- I can tell how they truly care for this shop and its community. If you’re looking to support a spooky, small, queer woman-owned business that is unlike any other, you have to visit Strange Love Parlor!!!!

Went into strange love while visiting my hometown here in lindenhurst, and lemme just say WOW! I could not believe the amount of variety they have for all your spooky needs. From classic horror to ethically sourced taxidermy, this place blew my socks off. And the cherry on top, the staff! Exceptional customer service and willing to answer any questions I’ve had. Keep it creepy!

Genuinely one of the coolest places in Lindenhurst. The cashier is the sweetest human I’ve ever met. I even invited her to my wedding, which was right across the street at Belfast!

I LOVE this shop!! Very cool and spooky. Great candles, the taxidermy is awesome, horror movie paraphernalia, jewelry, the list goes on and on. The owner and staff there are all amazing and the shows are absolutely fantastic. They have so much to offer, from movie nights to book clubs and more! I highly recommend stopping in and checking this place out.

Strange Love Parlor is one of the coolest stores I've ever been to. My favorite things to buy are the beautiful handmade candles, bath bombs and soaps. They also have really beautiful taxidermy, jewelry, clothes etc. We travel out there periodically from Queens to shop at Strange Love. They have adorable plushies, books and horror action figures as well. Highly recommend stopping in here and checking it out even if spooky /horror stuff isn't your vibe. I guarantee you'll be able to find something you like! The owner Kat is amazing and hosts different events throughout the month! I've seen her advertise a Book club, taxidermy classes, movie nights, burlesque and trivia. Seriously check out this one of kind store! We love strange love parlor???

This is the shop of my Horror dreams ! It is everything I wanted as a child but now as an adult can enjoy. Not to mention The love and outreach the owner does for the community. She also holds many community events include crafting, movie nights, photoshoots , burlesque shows, taxidermy classes, and even horror theme book club! There’s a sense of comfort and acceptance when you walk into the parlor.. You’re never alone at the parlor !

My absolute favorite goth shop in New York. Everything is aesthetic and creepy cute!! I also travel from Brooklyn because the owner is an amazing stylist and I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. PLUS they host so many different events, movie nights, burlesque, taxidermy classes. It’s a horror wonderland!
