going for a few years the best place to get your hair colored, highlights, haircut, style, blowout. She styled my hair for a wedding it came out so good, many compliments. Marlene is the best at what she does. Is up on all the newest styles, coloring. Knows just by your hair texture and face shape what will do best for you. I let her take the reins when she does my hair. Does a great job never disappointed.

The highlights that Marlene put in my hair complimented my hair color and stylish cut. I have a problem with my neck and Kim who washed my hair made sure I was comfortable and that everything was OK for me. I do recommend Salon Prime to everyone who compliments me on my hair. Marlene and her staff are wonderful! They’re always welcoming! I leave there feeling beautiful! Marlene did an amazing job on my hair for my sons wedding, stayed in place and looked gorgeous all day.

I've been going to Salon Prime for about 30 years and I would never go anywhere else! Marlene is the best! I don't have to tell her what to do she just knows! The whole staff there is great and very helpful and friendly. If you haven't tried it you should.

Shannon is my stylist. Other stylists from what I can see , are amazing as well. Shannon is amazing at color, cut, styling, blowouts, and straightening treatment. Always on time scheduling, and accomidating. Nothing but praise from this satisfied customer. Love the products they utilize.

Get my hair done by owner Marlene at Salon Prime. She does excellent coloring, is up on all the new trends and is a perfectionist in her work. She is also a great stylist and honest in what style would look good.

I went one week ago paid $265 and tipped Angela $40 and I'm sitting here this morning looking at gray around my root lines. Obviously my stylist missed some detailing and I just feel like it's quite silly and pathetic that with all they charge they did some sloppy coloring and the cut wasn't all that either. Go anywhere but here. It's a prime disaster and a waste of money you Don't get what you pay for.

Very poor. Went here in 2020 when salons first reopened and it's just another example of a bad salon that will ruin your hair. I left a review on google last year but it is probably hidden. I used to be able to go into any salon on Long Island back in 2010 and get a beautiful partial highlight and haircut for $100- now the same service is $250 before tip everywhere you go regardless of the experience or skill level of the person doing your hair and most salons today are crap. I'm convinced a lot of hairdressers are unlicensed cuz they seem to be making everything up as they go along. Just do yourself a favor and don't go here especially if you are a blonde or have hair that is not really thick- you'll look like you have male pattern baldness when you get out and your hair will be knotted and stripped and you'll feel like you just got rear-ended by a truck. This is the only salon I have ever been to where the stylist would not adjust my seat and instead pulled me up by the jaw to get closer to the sink nozzle. It was actually cruel and I cried- but the stylist did not notice. I didn't get the note to bring my extend-o-neck that day. Also they do not turn on the air conditioner and pretend they don't see you sweating like a pig in a hot box and just talk to the old ladies instead. The $5 off a service coupon I got at the end was like something waffle house would do. At least they were not as bad as Self Image salon in Amityville. These places are like butchers for hair.

Best place ever!! I've been coming here for over 20 years and would NEVER go anywhere else! Marlene is truly an artist and I trust her completely. My daughter goes to Cristina, who is also amazing and has been doing her hair for years. I always say....idc where I live, NY or if I ever moved....I'd STILL come here for my hair... NOBODY touches my hair but Marlene!!

Desperately needed a haircut and Nathan was kind enough to squeeze me in last minute. He and Alex restored my hair all while keeping me content with my length and giving me a gorgeous blowout. Super grateful for the patience, time, and attention both gentlemen gave me.

This place was recommended by someone on Facebook. I went to get my roots done and highlights!I showed a picture of the colors that I wanted prior to anything being done! It cost me 300$$ and did not look anything like what I asked for!! So she attempted to add some highlights but again it did not turn out anything like what I wanted, it was as if she couldn't get my hair blonde, It wasn't left on long enough!! So it was gold and orange looking, at know time did she say she couldn't get it blonde!! When I left my hair looked almost the same as When I went in!! So 4 days later I called and said it needs to be redone, first I was told I would have to pay for materials and that was not happening after 300$$ charge and a 100$ tip, so I went in and showed her my hair. She was upset and said come back in 3 hrs so I said ok. I than get a call that they can do it now, so I returned. She and a fellow worker did my hair together at this time she said well this really isn't my forte! Really you tell me this now!! So my hair still isn't right it is not the gold ash color all over but it is a mess and for that money it should be perfect!! I do not recommend getting highlights with Nicole! Kim was very helpful and seemed to know more about what I wanted, unfortunately she wasn't the person I made an appointment with! Never again

Best place Marlene did my hair I went to the salon with my hair all broken off and Marlene said don’t worry we could make it better and she did all the staff is very professional and friendly and very knowledgeable
