After receiving a recommendation from my cousin's neighbor regarding the installation of a blacktop driveway, I contacted Eastland Fence and two other contractors to make an appointment for an estimate. Elvis from Eastland Fence came to my home and began measuring my driveway, asking me questions along the way. He inspected the surrounding area as some of the concrete near my flowerbed needed to be cut in order for the blacktop to be squared off. Elvis explained how many days it would take for each "step" of the process. Definitely not a "pushy" sales pitch. He wrote me up a fair estimate right there and then. No waiting. Considerate, informative and helpful with his opinions. I was never left in the dark -- I always knew what the next step in the process would be. When installing blacktop, there are days when you cannot drive your car onto the driveway. All details were explained thoroughly, kindly and professionally. A yellow "caution" tape was placed across the apron of the driveway. Elvis explained how pavers need to edge the blacktop for reinforcement. I asked him to try to match the shade of my front entrance pavers as closely as possible. The match was perfection. Immaculate cleanup each day. I'm in my home since 1985 and I finally love my driveway. Now all I need is a new car to go with it!

We had some post repair needed for our backyard. Within a week they were at the house. On time, efficient and thorough. Appreciate the fast response from the office as well. Communication is key and they stayed in touch every step of the way. Would definitely recommend Eastland.

My Co worker recommended Eastland Fence to me and words cant describe how above and beyond the work and determination went into building the fence at my home. I was astonished at how fast and precise it was done, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely highly recommend Eastland Fence to anyone and everyone. Was interested in having a new deck installed, and came to Eastland Fence through a recommendation from TimberTech, the manufacturer of the decking materials. The experience with this company was positive from the request for a quote, through to installation. Eastland offers a series of services, including decking, masonry, and fencing. The decking business is the responsibility of Jose, one of the partners, who came out to house, gave us a quote, was there during installation, through to payment. We interviewed a number of decking contractors recommended by TimberTech, and Jose from Eastland was the only person we meet that actually had installed a deck, understood demo, foundation, materials, and was very helpful with design. Jose was accessible to answer questions during the contracting process, installation, and after. Not that there were many calls back and forth, but any call was answered timely, and we were never rushed.Given our space, other contractors proposed a standard straight deck with no design elements or creativity, while Jose recommended a border which was really nice touch. He also gave options for the steps, facing, and sizing. The quote was clear, gave us options, and the project was completed on time, and on budget.Although the project took only three days, the team managed by Melvin, who happens to be Jose’s son arrived on time, were respectful of the neighbors keeping the noise to a minimum, and cleaned up each day, carting off all waste materials. Melvin could not be more accommodating, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with.Jose said on the first day we met that it is his business to ensure that after he is completed, you’ll love the deck, and admittedly he is correct, it really did come out beautiful.Would highly recommend Eastland for future decking or related projects.

Eastland Fence installed the fence at our house in Coram. We were so impressed with the professionalism displayed by Elvis, Jose and the crew that we did not hesitate to have them installed our deck. WOW! That's all I can say about Jose and all the workers from Eastland Fence! From the moment you make an appointment for a quote to the final completion of your project you know your in great hands. Jose is a very knowledgeable person in this area of construction (masonry, fencing and decks) and it's noticed from all the input and suggestions that he will give to make your project look it's best. Aside from himself all of his workers are also very skilled in their trade and will not only work tirelessly to make your project look spectacular but will also keep you up to date with the progress and provide you suggestions of options if you chose to make other alternative decisions. I had my garage redone by Elvis and his team, he said I do not need rebar since he will be pouring heavy duty concrete. He gutted out 3/4 of the old section and poured new concrete without any rebar. (Picture is attached). Large size crack is by the old and new pour! Take a look at photos.After few months later it started to crack! I mean the crackLine goes from one end to another. When I had call Elvis, he came and said the land has moved! But how it can be?I don’t have any construction done in my yard or close my house! Not only that I have also poured same length and close to 1ft concrete on the outer side of the garage to see if it will crack or not. Mine do not rebar and it’s not heavy duty concrete. It’s the quick set from Home Depot.Anyhow I don’t feel happy about it!Take a look at the pictures!Update: called them few times and came to fix it, and want more $$$ but never seen them after their 1st visit!What happen to their Customer service?

I used Eastland Fence to do some fence work last year. I called them to get an estimate for a trex deck. The price was fair and they had excellent ideas on what i should do (accent borders, railing design, etc). They were able to bring a team in and complete my job in 3 days, exactly as promised. I contacted Eastland Fence about 2 weeks ago. Elvis came and gave me a price for a new front fence which was reasonable. I also asked him about replacing a few posts on my back fence using the posts that were being taken out of the front fence. No problem. Kim in the office took care of contacting gas company to mark gas lines to make sure there wouldn't be a problem. Yesterday the crew arrived on time and Elvis came to make sure everything was to my satisfaction and discussed with his crew exactly what was to be done. Great communication and a job well done. The fence is beautiful - I will definitely be calling them with any future fence needs.
