We recently celebrated my husbands Big 50th Celebration (Dominican Carnival) Style , at BISOU and I just want to say that I was in Awwwee with the work, professionalism , hospitality that the BISOU team demonstrated throughout the entire process and during the event. From the very beginning, Michele , and her team were there for Me and my family. I expressed an idea and Michele and the Bisou team had something bigger and executed with grand excellence. They superseded my expectations. My husband and our guests had such an amazing experience and they were all part of a memorable event. The Bisou family gave each and every one of our guests, including me and my husband a souvenir experience that we will never forget. We will definitely be celebrating at our next event with the BISOU team! Highly recommend it!

I’ve attended so many functions at Bisou and left completely satisfied. The staff is always professional and go above and beyond for whatever you may need.

I had a gender reveal party for my cousin and it was such a nice place and everyone was so nice! I recommend this place to everyone and I definitely will be back again!!

I regret to say that our experience at the event space was incredibly disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic hospitality skills. The atmosphere was tense, making us feel uncomfortable throughout the event especially by the bar. The bartender was very unwelcoming and did not look happy to be there. Some guest were denied ice and a drinks because the “screw face bartender” said they ran out. Later to find out that was untrue and there were in fact plenty of ice and cups left. At the end of the night, during clean up, I overheard one of the staff members tell a child not to pop the heart balloons because she wanted to save them. Initially, I thought the balloons were provided by the venue given how fast this woman ran across the room to save some balloons and so I inquired and found out they were not. Not a big deal, but you would think to ask the person who provided the decor for permission to use their material, and that was not the case! Further more, some days later on Instagram, I came across a story posted by Bisou showing decor for another event and what do you know?! The balloons and another piece of decor, a stack of red gift boxes to be exact, were used for another event without permission! It’s a shame because the venue had potential, but its lack of warmth, hospitality, and communication ruined an experience that our entire family and close friends were anxiously waiting on. I have been a guest to so many establishments and I will say this was one of the worst I’ve experienced! We certainly won’t be returning or recommending it to anyone!And if this review and others are not enough reason for you to not to do business with the wrong business, go read the rude and unprofessional review responses from the owner. I’m a business owner and I WOULD NEVER handle my customers in this manner! The work and time that goes into planning an event is hard as is and yes there are people out there constantly trying to get over, but my family who rented this space are not that and did not deserve the treatment they received and neither did the guest! Very distasteful!

We rented this space for a baby shower in February 2024, we were initially very pleased when we booked because we were supposed to be the 1st booked clients of their new location in Lynbrook - we were offered free balloon work and cold sparklers for being their 1st booked clients- the permits did not come through on time so we had to move the baby shower to the Lindenhurst location, our offer was still honored - great!.......fast forward to 3 weeks before the baby shower. we booked 2 servers and a bartender through the venue..I spoke with one of the owners (male) 3 weeks before the event at the event space he asked me the final # of guests I advised him 140, he suggested 2 bartenders, we declined and said we had done events before with this # of people with 1 bartender and he said ok. One week before the baby shower I get a text confirming everything that I had previously confirmed with them...# of people etc. Again I was advised in the text that we needed 2 bartenders, I advised I spoke with one of the owners (male) already and received an OK. The day before the event, I received a call from the same owner I previously spoke with advising me that they never do an event of this size with 1 bartender and that it would no look good for them or their venue if there is a line at the bar, so I asked him if he was "FORCING" me to get another bartender at $65.00 per hour, his exact words were " I wouldn't want to say force" he then said " look I don't make money from the bartenders it all goes to them" against my better judgement and so that there were no issues I said ok. the night of our event the two owners were at the location, I thought it was just to oversee the event, but low and behold they were the bartenders!! the nerve.....I was confused, neither of them said anything to me about staff not being able to make it..etc. I truly believe that was the plan from the start and to me that is bad business!!*I made a request to keep the bar clear so the counter did not look crowded full of bottles - there was an excuse as to why that could not be done.*Our guest were approaching us, saying the bartenders were rude, and their overall attitudes were not pleasing.*some guests advised they were denied ice ( that we of course paid for and we overbought)*At one point my daughter in law asked me if we had anymore cups because one of the guests approached her and advised her she was denied a drink because there were no cups...I was confused and annoyed, no one came to me and told me we were out of cups, of course we had additional cups but to deny a guest a drink and say there are no cups and not bring it to the renters attention is ridiculous!*overall experience being the renter was not pleasant, and I would advise you to take caution especially if you are not using them to set up your event, in my opinion if you do not use them to design/set up your event they will try to get the money another way and they don't treat you as a respected customer.

I attended a baby shower in February for my sister in law at this space. My first thought was wow what a nice location.Unfortunately that changed very quickly. The event staff were rude and dismissive before the shower even started. They had an issue and an eye roll for every small request my family/friends made (and they were very well taken care of)! A lot of guests were asking for simple things like ice for example, and were turned down.The staff here and how they handled our celebration from start to finish made our happy day, sad.I strongly recommend you find another event space and more so a professional company. I wouldn’t attend another event here and strongly suggest you check out your options.

We had what everyone is saying is the best baby shower they have every been toWe brought our own food and Bisou did everything else-My wife wanted a unique baby shower and had vision of clouds and teddy bears-we sat with the designer and explained what she wanted-They said they had ideas and to trust them-I knew they did good work from their instagram but I didn’t have a visual of what the shower would look like they said trust the process and I did-We walked in to clouds everywhere then it looked like we walked in on clouds-My wife was happy so I was happy- out maternity shoot was all over-The cake was hanging on a swing like it was floating-every single detail was perfect and we had drinks with clouds coming out of them-you did your thing Bisou this is your first baby and we wanted to do it big -we did it thanks to you-We will be back for the first birthday-you all are freaking amazing thank you and the little things in the bathroom was a hit thank you thank you Bisou is our spot!!!!!

We had the best event here-We did a Harlem nights theme here and they really made it feel like we were in Harlem-From our first meeting I knew I found the right venue and team to execute my vision-We had a jazz band that was insane and set the tone for the night-my pull up in an old school car was amazing the bison team made sure my song was playing and that everything was perfect I also did catering through them and everyone was raving about the food-the really took care of every detail and what’s cool is the same people I booked with were at the event cheering and clapping as if they knew me for years-I recommend them and will definitely tell everyone-They are professional and detailed caring people-thank you Bisou my birthday was pure perfection

My birthday party was insane!!!!Michele convinced me to half a pull upShe helped me get a car and special effectsWhen I pulled up everyone was outsideI walked out feeling like BeyonceThen when I walked into the room and saw my vision come to life I was in tears ruined my make up LOLAll I did was give her my ideas and boy did she run with itThank you for making me feel so special!!!
