Copied and Pasted from Submission to Corportate.
Your employee/cashier was grossly inappropriate and antisemitic. While checking out today (06/16/2024) at the Liberty NY location, only one cashier was open. The cashier had headphones in and was watching videos on his phone while working. The customer in front of me was an Orthodox Jewish woman with her three small children all well-behaved in a stroller. She was speaking with her children (in Hebrew) while checking out and my daughter was smiling with her and her children. She paid part of the transaction in cash and finished with a credit or debit card. When it was approved she said thank you and began to leave without the receipt. The cashier then said to her "You people need to do better," she was smiling and stopped and asked him what? what do you mean? to which he said, "You heard me." He seemed angry and aggressive. She looked at me and I shook my head fully understanding what he meant. I, a white woman with no religious distinguishing attributes was able to check out without issue and he told me to "have a great day." I was disgusted by his behavior, I apologized to the woman when I left as did my 11-year-old daughter who also knew how terrible it was for her to be treated like that. I hope that she takes further action against the store.
The employee was a white male, middle-aged (maybe younger), buzz cut. I frequently got to the store and had never seen him before. I checked out at approximately 5:10 pm. I was unable to find any other employee on-site to speak to. He should be fired immediately. As the summer approaches in this region in the NY Catskills the population triples, most of which are Orthodox Jews from NYC, many of who frequent your stores.

I enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree stores especially the Liberty NY store. Dollar Tree offers a wide variety of items and staples including excellent glassware. I find the checkers and other workers extremely helpful as well. Shopping in the summer months can be a challenge in Liberty due to the great influx of seasonal residents so things can get messy as customers rifle through merchandise.

I stopped in here recently as I was passing through Liberty. I needed some chapstick. The large store, it's pretty well organized. Employees were halfway Nas is half not. The shelves were all easy to peruse and check out was fast and easy. Plenty of parking in this area.

Have wide variety of things from supplies for home; school supplies; limited craft and floral supplies, books and puzzles; some grocery and frozen food items; and a limited variety of auto, electronic, and toys; party supplies; and seasonal items. Quality can be iffy, just shop carefully. Cards, wrapping paper, and bows are an excellent value. New management does not keep store as clean as previously and quality of customer service is not as it was when current district manager was the store manager. Overall, can be a good value for your dollar.
