“They take good care of your pups but since they have a shortage on doctors it was a hassle to get my two puppies neutered (in the wellness plan). It was rescheduled twice ( very last minute) which is a hassle but it worked out at the end. I recommend planning doctors appointment in advance with the receptionist since their availability is a little skimp. They do call to check in after visits which sweet.”
“Dr K took very good care of my bull terrier Paris, sadly she passed, now he takes good care of my beagle Roscoe?his entire staff are wonderful! I trust Dr K with my dogs.”

“They say first impressions are everything. South Shore Animal Hospital has gained my trust. I am a new dog owner with a currently 6 month old Black Lab Mix named Luke. I had been looking to get established with a Vet and had been doing some research. But when Luke had some issues that needed attention I started frantically calling places to be met with a lot of rudeness and no availability. I found South Shore and booked an appointment online for the soonest available which was 3 days later. I called up and explained the situation and they were happy to squeeze me in the same day on a Saturday. Now I can’t say if I got lucky or if they did me a favor but I appreciated them getting in a new customer same day on a Saturday. The Staff were kind and were patient with Luke as he is still a puppy and made him feel comfortable at his first visit. Their pricing seems reasonable although I did not need anything major but the exam fee seemed okay. They answered all my questions as a new dog owner would have. I’m glad I found them and will consider bringing in our cat Pumpkin in as well as needed. Thank you South Shore Animal Hospital. We will see you again”

“Dr. Wallach is truly the vet everyone needs. He takes his time and speaks to you before and after seeing your pet and goes over diagnosis and prognosis in so much detail. I've transferred care from another vet in the area and have never looked back since! My dog Coco was in pain due to unknown causes and Dr. Wallach has been wonderful. Dr. Paoloni just did surgery on one of my pups and I am beyond pleased with the care during and after surgery to get him back to good health.
Glenn, Kristal and the entire rest of the staff are super friendly, answer all of my questions and are each very helpful in taking care of my pups.

From the two receptionists that are kind and caring, to the vet techs that seem to love their job and the pets, our new rescue pup with a complicated history is getting the best care. And there are no words to describe Dr. Jackie- a fierce advocate for her four-legged patients. “I took my dog Benny here for PT and acupuncture every Monday for nearly 2 years. Without the help of Victoria and Riley in PT and Dr. Donato who did his acupuncture, Benny would not have been able to continue living a comfortable life. Benny has multiple issues, arthritis, disc issues, ACL and joint issues. You could truly see a difference in his day to day comfort due to these wonderful folks. Benny was genuinely excited to go here each week which speaks to the kind of care they provide. I highly recommend them for anyone considering these treatment options.
