Izzy's next door has the better price. save your gas and time and don't come here to this store; things are over priced and the owner has insecurity issues. talks about putting food on his table, but YOU ARE TAKING AWAY FOOD FROM ANOTHER TABLE too add food to yours, by significantly OVER PRICING items. you are a permit-less store located in a run down mall. do all of us a favor and price your items at standard market price or lower...really bad on advertisement. thats why I go to my local/regional stores, price is no different. It's actually higher here. watch the owner will write a review, saying " you were never here, this never happened." he will call me a "karen," and will tell me to "shop elsewhere." Now does that like a temperament of someone who will advocate for his clients?

Owner has a bad attitude. Acts like he is doing you a favor by giving you the ability to buy what he has for sale. Very disorganized and will not give you a price on certain items that are not marked. Waits to see if your interested and then doesn’t give a price and says he is too busy, to see if you are willing to stick around and he jacks up what the item is worth. Don’t waste your time here.

place has a lot of fantastic items. one star review is because the owner has all of his children to do his business for him while he is nothing but rude, nasty, and disrespectful to customers who try to ask any kind of genuine question. i've come countless times to search for items. every time i've been there, i've either had a problem with the owner or have witnessed a person having an issue due to the owners disrespect. everything is unfortunately over priced(which isn't the reason for the one star) you can go to any reputable retro game store and get a way better deal for the same items and friendly service. the man needs anger management or skills improved of his manners. i implore any person before coming here, read the low star reviews and see the responses that the j*** owner gives. it's a shame because they have a lot of nice items.

They have a large selection of games but their displays are awful, you can barely see what is inside of the cases because they have things blocking them and not enough space to display properly and they are locked so you cant even look for yourself,and half of their games are behind the counter and they refuse to let you look at them. And the employees are constantly coughing with no mask on. Overall the store is a mess??

Retro Games & Toys of LI is incredible! They have helped me build the foundation for a large and complete VHS collection. It was 100% worth the drive from Brooklyn to see what they had. This is truly a family business, and Jerry went above and beyond to make us feel like valued customers. I will be coming here for all my video game and VHS needs in the future.

Highly recommend this place to collectors and anyone who misses that old school gaming experience. It is family owned and everyone was knowledgeable about what they were selling. The person who helped me had to be a teenager but i was amazed about how much she knew. All around great experience

Great place for retro stuff in LI. Unlike their competition 3 blocks away, all games and items are priced. Awesome staff which I believe is owned and runned by a family. Shame its hidden in the plaza and was hard to find at first but totally worth visiting. Will return multiple times in the near future for all my retro needs.
