Store went down hill when "DA basement " merged with collectors emporium.... they charge you 10$ just to sit down while every other store I go to I can play for free if there's space. They say the 10$ goes to credit but it has an expiration date?? The don't know how to run set championships for lorcana and are doing iy.in August instead of july when there are clear guidelines on when and how to host said event by ravensburger. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't receive the kit for the championship

This place is supposed to be a safe place for all players and yet it doesn’t seem to be so. They refuse to answer simple questions and then have their followers attack you publicly on their social media. They supposedly rebranded but the place isn’t inclusive at all.
Edited: now after being attacked further on the global Lorcana page. This place is really low class. All from me asking a simple question about an event I wanted to attend. I am a casual player who just wanted. Simple question answered. As you can see “Da Basement” is literally themselves, because how could they received my private message I sent the store directly .

Pros: Lyla’s post for D&D on Facebook is what brought me in. Lyla’s friendly demeanor and welcoming attitude made me a retuning customer. The rest of the staff have been friendly too. The game room is comfortable and well lit! Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. They cater to all my nerdy needs, D&D, MTG, and Lorcana.
Cons: The only downside is the $10.00 charge to use the play space. They give $10.00 credit in return which is great. However, the money adds up if you go 3x a week like I try to. In addition, there is not much D&D inventory (minis, books, etc).

This place was so cool! Well organized and very friendly. Sometimes I feel a little intimidated walking into card shops but they immediately greeted us and were super willing to answer questions! Lyla was so awesome!

I had a fantastic experience here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I picked up the Army Painter Fanatic Starter Kit, and the prices were very competitive. The atmosphere was great, and I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Beware! The new owners are now bribing people with a free card pack for 5 star reviews! This place is terrible!
Collectors Emporium used to be an amazing place to go. I'd be there every Tuesday night for commander night, the staff was amazing and knowledgeable, and the people were fantastic.
And then a new owner took over. He doubled the commander night prices, took away almost all of the rewards, treated the staff terribly, and ruined the nightly games. All of the old players are leaving. Avoid at all costs!
