After my experiance with Lowes years ago (nightmare is an understatement) I was never going back to a big box store for a job like this. “I was initially hesitant to go with The Floor Store - I had received an estimate from a chi-chi north shore carpet store I had used several times in the past which, even after all of their additional “promos” and “discounts”, was roughly 25% higher for the identical carpeting. Mike is an OG in this business who delivers quality customer service at its highest. As a home-based business owner, it was imperative that my needs to be heard and implemented, on time. I received this level of attentiveness and professionalism from Mike and his crew. We had two separate crews who installed our vinyl flooring and carpet. They were quiet, and neat, and took the remnants with them. There was a small tweak with the base molding they replaced (yes, I am picky) and Mike was on it. He scheduled the crew for the next business day! Almost forgot - since there was left over carpet, Mike offered to create a runner and mat with the extra material! “Went shopping around for carpet to replace in 4 bedrooms. After visiting numerous stores and meeting with several companies, I found Carpets and Us on google. Being frustrated with places trying to sell industrial carpet as residential; salesmen not showing to appointments; quotes including some ridiculous fees; etc., I was so relieved when I met Nancy and Carol! They were both so knowledgeable, professional and friendly! Made a deal with them at the store, their installers came by to take measurements the same day and carpet was installed the very next day!
