I was appalled at the way my girlfriend was treated. I've been with a number of banks before settling on my credit unions but in two decades of banking I have never had a financial facility tell me no I couldn't change options on my bank account. I understand the circumstances in this situation aren't ideal but as the primary on an account, in my experiences with my banks they have done and explored every option to accomplish what I am trying to accomplish, and I feel like 5 Star and it's staff really could not have cared less about the situation. To tell someone "be thankful that this is all that happened" is mortifying, rude, and so unprofessional. I will certainly be advising my friends, family, and clients to steer clear.
