8000 Cooper Ave, Queens“Great little bookstore and decorated so cute! My daughter and I love going there and picking up a book or two. We also enjoy the fun, interactive read alongs with the book characters, like Dr. Seuss & The Grinch.Maria gives perfect book recommendations and also provides a fantastic tutoring service. So happy this bookstore exists! Highly recommend it.”
“A wonderful and wide selection of Torah literature for serious scholars and for the layman or woman alike. A very respectable collection of books written in English as well as a very nice children's section.Although there are a number of paintings and a large selection of other Judaica items like yarmalkas and tzitzis and some music the main focus is books and Torah literature. They usually receive the latest recently published scholarly volumes and biographies and display them on a separate table. In addition they organize sections to cater to those who are interested in books on upcoming Jewish holidays, life cycle events and the weekly Torah portion. The salespeople are knowledgeable and accomodating.”
“I love that they brought back the classic paperback books. In this digitizing world, the authenticity of Barnes and Nobles was nearly lost. Thankfully, post Covid, they returned to making it a place of ? hand held books. I cpuld use some more couches and nooks around random corners though. Sometimes its hard to buy a book without a few intimate moments with it.. and harder to read standing. But my view has improved of course. Place is just wonderful.”
7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
220-24 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village“I wish I could give this school more stars. My oldest son went here for 3K and 4k. They had 2 teachers for each class. He went to Kindergarten knowing how to read and write with no issues. I moved to the island and he was way ahead most of the kids. Highly, highly recommend!”
“I visited Dr. Barry late Friday afternoon as they wer about close. Dr. Barry stayed after closing to complete a repair to my sunglasses. The staff is very professional and friendly, they’re a great addition to our beach community.”
“Absolutely beautiful - books to the ceiling. Old vintage books smell I loved it feels like a hidden lost royal library. The owner is super sweet and friendly and the prices are amazing! Picked up a book that normally on Amazon is 21$ I got it like new condition for $1! Yes you read that right ! Love this book shop will definitely recommend and will return!”

257-19 Hillside Ave., Queens“Such a beautiful place to go when you need anything for your Hindu/Sikh rituals. They have everything from Bhagaved Gita to Guru Granth Sahib to Bengali books on Durga Ma. Also many Indian utensils and Indian games like Carom. Truly a peaceful place.”
“This is a great place to get all your spiritual wants and needs. They have jewelry, large print bibles that you can get engraved. Spiritual clothes and lots of spiritual trinkets. MUST VISIT if you are or want to get spiritually connected to God”
“When I got here it seemed as if I had stumbled upon a vegan/vegetarian grocery store in the back of a bookstore. While it is not very big, you will see all the bigger vegan brands that you sometimes are looking for. The prices aren’t the best but I saw brands that I rarely see.”
“Small and cozy. Reminds me of the Barnes and Nobles that were everywhere in the 90s and 2000s. Good selection of books. Not too many bookstores left sadly and alot of kids will never get to experience it. Its a must go to and staff is friendly and knowledgeable”

10AM - 5PM
200 Hofstra University, Hempstead“The bookstore is wonderful and has many things an aspiring student could want. But, it has two levels and to get to the basement level a disabled student has to know where the elevator is and how to find the lower level of the book store.”
“I worked here for the early voting and the Cafe is magnificent. So awesome that they have all these different varieties of foods for the students. They were also kind enough to allow us to patronize there establishment for the 9 days we were at the early voting.”
“I went to this school for undergrad in physics and It was the best opportunity I have ever had ever had. I had learned so much in my time here and made so many lasting memories course work is challenging but there are people willing to help you at every corner.”
“Besides the rival overpriced college books, they have literally everything for your college needs. Sanitary items as well Incase of an accident or you need lip balm for the cold days you could get it here. Clothing made will really great material for everyone in your NCC Family. Too far from the cafeteria? No cash for vending machine? Well they got snacks for you.”
5AM - 11PM
303 30th Street, Queens“I bought some KN95 masks from this Hudson News in Terminal 4 for $5 each. There's a markup, but not a big one. You can buy them in bulk on Amazon for about $3 each, so I'd say $5 for a single item, at an airport, isn't bad. That's also less than the vending machines in the terminal--they sell them for $7 each. The masks are great. They form a tight seal and have a metal nose bridge piece. They are warm, but very easy to breathe through pressure-wise. I assume they're effective.”
“Beautiful store, beautiful products, and the cell phone department was very friendly and helpful in helping me get the most awesome best phone for the easiest most connected lifestyle”
