I'm not generally a Dollar store shopper but we were camping and needed a few things on Saturday 7/13 around mid-day. I'm writing this review only to say that the lady at the register at that time deserves a raise! She was 100% better than any store cashier I think I've ever encountered at any store. It was somewhat busy at the time, I needed to use the bathroom while she was checking people out she still noticed me looking for the bathroom and got me the keys, then made sure to apologize for the wait time in line, offered us a coupon, and promptly got us the ice we needed outside. Her service was worth this review. I was very impressed! Especially considering the general lack of customer service that I think we've all come to expect everywhere these days.

Shopping at Dollar General is always fast and stress-free. On most days the check out line is short and moves quickly. The store is clean and well organized. The employees are always friendly and very helpful.

I came in from Binghamton. Ususally in this area for groceries, I have to go to Oneonta or Cooperstown. This is a nice altnative. Clean and well stocked store. Very convenient to our place here.

In this small quaint little town there had only been one store to go to since I moved here years ago, and it was an over priced gas station (I won't mention any names)Last year however they began construction on a dollar general.Might not sound like much but when you live several miles from the nearest grocery store it's like a godsend.I no longer deal with the big stores now unless absolutely necessary. All my groceries (aside from fresh produce) comes from here.Only being half a mile up the road it's a nice walk, bring your own bags and make a little trip and exercise.The staff are excellent and very friendly. This particular Dollar General is practically immaculate. No cluttered isles, and items are kept in stock. From groceries to cleaning supplies, pet food, small appliances and knick knacks and everything in between.
