definitely recommend it was absolutely beautiful. The house is amazing in the room was pretty. The view from our room Was beautiful. The beds were super Comfy. Cannot wait to come back. There is a Lake that is also not too far from the bed and breakfast that we were able to visit as well. And it was absolutely beautiful..Rooms: The house and room were absolutely beautiful.. the view from our room Was breathtaking. Absolutely wonderful. Cannot wait to go back..

This bed-and-breakfast was excellent. Cozy and clean bedrooms/bathrooms and superb breakfasts by Matt. I have stayed here on two occasions and will be returning next week. I highly recommend.

Stayed two nights for a family get together in the area. Matt was an excellent host and made a delicious breakfast each morning. There is a small public park across the street.

We loved this place. The brook outside our window was soothing and beautiful. The owner was super friendly and an awesome cook. If we are ever up that way again, we'll be back.

Matt was so welcoming and helpful when we got there. He showed us around, explained the property and told us great stories about this historic area. It’s in a small town so we loved that and the prices was very affordable. His breakfasts were so yummy! I left Lauren’s having a new found friend! Thanks so much Matt!

Matt was so kind & accommodating. He met us at the door, welcoming us by our 1st names. My daughter had been car sick on drive over & he fixed her up with a special ginger drink. He provides snacks by Wise, our favorite NY brand. Loved this historic home in a quaint town.

Warm & welcoming, historic old building, quiet. Each room nicely appointed in its own color scheme. Spaceous & clean. Nice antedote to corporate American sameness. Next to a warbling brook!

My wife and I spent our last engagement weekend at Brookside inn At Laurens, and it was just perfect. We got welcomed with a giant American flag just after the independence day! The house is very pretty and has a lot of charm near a lovely gazebo and a brook. The room was very comfortable and spacious, well equipped with a small fridge and you can get Champagne! The dinning room has many snacks and drinks available. We didn't play board games but they are there. Matthew and his wife and their kids are so welcoming. They both made us feel very comfortable. Matthew made us delicious fresh breakfast and his bacon tasted so good! We recommend very well this lovely bed and breakfast and we hope to come back soon.

The atmosphere here is nice and cozy. Friendly staff who met or exceeded my expectations. From walkin to being at our booth took but a matter of minutes. Menu? Well let's just say that it was not a disappointment. Plenty of food that covered just about anything you might want. Filled with delicious pork beef and chicken all grilled to perfection. Our particular order, The barbecue sampler had we both ordered was absolutely fantastic. Local residents, elderly along with tourist from baseball season were amongst the crowd. Most with excitement and longing to receive their meal. If you're in the mood for barbecue this certainly the place to be.

My extended family all rented this place together for a family function, and it felt like a home away from home. Unfortunately it was raining the day we were there, and the hosts didn't mind at all that 15 people spent the entire day hanging out together in the living room and on the porch. The decor is fun and embodies the classic bed & breakfast style of upstate New York. Clean, comfortable rooms in a variety of sizes allowed for everyone to have some space to themselves, which is good for a big family who are sharing bathrooms. Sitting on the porch was my favorite part!
