Probably the most ghetto, bootleg Family Dollar you will find in the NYC area. The weirdest, most juvenile staff you will find anywhere. If you ask them a question about finding a particular product in the store, they'll either pretend they didn't hear you or act like you're speaking Mandarin Chinese. Go in this store only if you must.

This location has been run atrociously for years. From the constantly filled aisles of unpacked items, a very clear safety hazard that goes unchecked daily. To the food products that are 6 months out of date. The staff is absolutely disgusting in customer service, replies like what do you want? Rolls eyes, sucks teeth, making out in the aisles. Laughing in customers faces, ask for help and they run to the back room. I'm having to return a food item that is once again months past expiration date. This store will need to change or suffer loss because me personally I do not enjoy spending my money. This location needs to change or close down. From the nasty attitude manager black lady with never done hair or the rude Spanish kinda fat guy, or the rude gay guy with the nose piercing. I can tell levels of education or not high and that's I expect decent customer service but clearly from the top down there is no regard for health or safety or even customer satisfaction of customers at this location. NEEDS TO CLOSE! I will be following up with OSHA/DOH and DOB and file reports! This place will get it or get taken by the residents.

Customer service is unbelievably atrocious, multiple times they have sold years old food. Every aisle is always full of stuff not put on shelves. The store is a legit safety hazard and health hazard. I've tried to contact the district manager seeing as how the store managers are happily rude. I'm actually having to take back juice I bought the other day that is a year old. O not shop here or better yet be prepared to be sick or buy faulty items. Have empty lotion bottles, staff is mostly in the back room doing whatever they do. Staff will literally ignore you, line is always long. There's a Spanish guy nasty attitude and a nasty attitude black lady it's crazy because truly all of them are horrid and a real change needs to occur before they be put out of business by exhausted residents. I personally wouldn't wanna pay for nothing in that store. Once I get my refund of the year old item, that's it. I'll be following up with OSHA/DOH and DOB seeing as how part of the building is chipping and causing rubble on the sidewalk. Matter fact! I'll return with a video of this ghastly place: I'll rather pay Target and have my items delivered in perfect condition and not outdated food.

Would I recommend this store no because I always go In there to hear the cashiers talking about someone and using too much profanity and it's always on Sunday's. Please get new workers

This family dollar is horrible I hear too much profanity from the workers especially from a chubby fat guy with green waves. I would advise for the manager to get new workers. Most of the cashiers can be very ratchet when I'm purchasing items.

My mother who is a senior purchased several items in the store 3/29/2023 1:30 p.m., when the cashier behind the counter offered gladly to place my mothers purchases in the carry bag that she had brought with her. The intent was to remove several paid items from the bag before handing it to my mother. Slick! Targeting the elderly.
