"Vaughn" needs some education on what's policy. Unfortunately for him that "policy" he was claiming does not exist and I was refused service. Being refused service in such a manner potentially makes this a discrimination issue. Initially I was not going to pursue anything until I checked with corporate.

I went to shop there and will probably avoid going into the store as much as I can. They can make it look nice and improve a shopping experience but when only 2 registers are open and takes you 30 minutes to check out is a complete failure of management and the company. You must be taking points from Latham Lowe’s. I understand self serve checkout is shut down to stop people stealing but to only have a point of sales at 2 places is a way to keep people away from shopping in your store completely. Why does Amazon make sense more and more?

Save yourself some time and hop on the highway to the east greenbush target. This one never has any registers open. I took me 45 minutes to get a pint of ice cream and a 12 oz bottle of soda.

I went in to buy one item at noon. The self check out is belted off with two registers open and lines 8 people deep on each. There is no express option.
I put the item back and left.

No self checkout and only 2 counters open , more then 30 people waiting , waste of time coming here

The product selection is pretty decent and the cashier was very nice. I give her 100% credit for doing her job well despite being by herself. There was no self check out open and only a single cashier overwhelmed with a line of at least 15 people. There's no reason a company such as Target cannot have multiple cashiers or at least have self check out open so that a single person does not have to cash out literally every customer by themselves.

This store used to be the go to store in the area. I now avoid going in as much as possible. Last night (Saturday evening) we went in and were shopping..had a cart full of stuff and came to check out and there was one register open and all of the self checkouts were closed. The line was up the middle of the store at 8pm. We put all of our stuff back and left. It was getting bad with checkout lines before they closed the self check out but now it just ridiculous. Will only order online from target from now on.
