The personnel working at the business center in the Latham, NY store were not only knowledgeable of our needs but very, very helpful. I intend to go back and use their services for all of our data transfer. Very cost effective in terms of time and money.

The Staples in Latham Farms is well stocked and the staff were helpful. I have the rewards program and the cashier easily looked up my account and found I had a coupon to use.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my experience today at the Latham Staples store. On May 2nd, 2024, I visited the store with the intention of purchasing a laptop. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the laptop I wanted was not in stock.
Despite this setback, the store staff assured me that the laptop was available at the East Greenbush location, which was a 20-minute drive away. Reluctantly, I made the trip, only to discover that the laptop was not in stock at that location either. To add insult to injury, I was told that the available laptop was not for sale.
This experience was not only a waste of my time but also incredibly frustrating and misleading. As a loyal customer, I expect better service and accurate information from Staples. Such inconsistencies and false assurances are unacceptable.
I urge you to address this issue promptly and take measures to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar problems in the future. I hope for a swift resolution to this matter.

They close at 8 PM, but better to get there before 5 PM because at that point there are three people working in the entire store and you will be there forever. I've never had a worse experience in a store.

This is a pretty nondescript Staples. The store is clean and well laid out, and the inventory was generally good, though perhaps a little skimpy in places. It feels like the quality of the office furniture is going down, particularly the desks. One thing that surprised me was the lack of employees walking around the store asking customers if they needed any assistance. Prices were typical; some were competitive, others were "you should shop around" prices.

I went there yesterday to fax a death certificate and I needed help. Staff came over for about 8 seconds to “help” and couldn’t be bothered. I wasn’t confident it went through, asked the front desk if someone else could help me. Nothing. So I ended up going to the UPS store where my car got hit. At UPS the guy actually helped me though and didn’t even charge me after I told him the nightmare of Staples. So they lost my business. It’s just crazy that 2 minutes of someone’s time could have prevented me hours of time on the phone with insurance company and accident report filing on top of the process of death certificate paperwork. PEOPLE SUCK. Especially this new generation that can’t be bothered.
