Follow-up the first review:
It's Shang again. It has now been three weeks since I joined Planet Fitness, and I've moved past the initial struggle of wondering whether to go or how long I could keep it up. Now, I genuinely look forward to each day’s workout. The staff are incredible—always friendly and professional. Anytime I have questions, Ann, Luke, and the entire team are there to help. Every time I finish my workout and head toward the front desk, Dario and the others already know I’d love a turn on the hydromassage chair without me even asking. The atmosphere here is wonderful; the other gym-goers are so inspiring that it makes me feel there’s no excuse not to show up daily. I’m so glad I chose this gym!
My name is Shang. It was my first time going to the gym, and the experience was great. The facility is really nice, and the front desk staff were all amazing. Yesterday, I had an orientation session with Luke, who was very patient and created a personalized workout program for me. He went over all the details and showed me how to use the machines properly. I now feel confident about doing the exercises. I’d like to thank Luke and all the staff for their help and support!

The staff here were absolutely amazing!!! Friendly, helpful and professional. They truly hold PF values close. Mind you I work for a different PF in the SYR area. Highly recommend.

Most of my friends and some of my family
Ether go there or talk about going to go to see and register it’s awesome place convenience and business hours very good compared to the locations and other gyms around them are in the area at nurse colony pricewise one of the best gyms in the states if it’s not in the country

Had the worst experience. Came in to get a tour. 2 young men at the desk looked up and down at me and in a not friendly way I said I wanted a tour. They were giggling telling each other you do it no you do it not making me feel not welcome or wanted. Then one said he will do it. Already feeling a little upset that the front desk staff was fighting to not accommodate me, we started walking and he asked me what kind of membership I wanted. No what’s your name, your fitness goals or anything about how I might want to use the facility, I said I don’t know what the options are. Then man walked in (maybe a regular) and he immediately started taking to him as if I wasn’t there. That made me feel so awful I left.
For a place whose ethos is no judgement, I felt judged, ignored, unwelcome and extremely disappointed as this location especially since it seems to have the best reviews in the area. For some getting to a gym and working out is its own challenge to be treated like this makes it so much worse.

I’m black members when I talk to the gym no, nobody is here I was with for 10 minutes the the lady come from nowhere sounds like massage cheers. And I be very nice asking how was your day her ignores me bombard disrespectful feel like I stop her sleep??

No matter what day or time I go for a workout…All the staff are welcoming and are constantly cleaning the facility! I have never once been in there where someone didn’t say “Hello, have a great workout” or there was someone vacuuming, mopping floor or moving equipment to clean underneath it!

Staff is always friendly, the facility is always clean, and no one ever bothers you while working out unless you ask for help.

The Latham location is a good size with a nice mix of equipment. The massage chairs and beds are nice and the water in the showers is nice and hot.
I wish they had another bench in the locker room, and more benches near the dumbbells. The ones by the dumbbells fill up quickly.

My feedback is for the Clifton Park location. The requests I have are for dumbbells that are heavier than 75 lbs. and more cable machine accessories. The Clifton Park location only has one easy curl bar and one straight curl bar that is available for cable machine use. Clifton Park does not have Bosus while the Latham location does.

I have back problems and you have a machine that I can use with no problem. No one bothers you and the staff is very polite I love coming here. I have no problem working out for a hour or more.
