“Update: May 2023

After changes to our insurance we were lured into using CVS for our subscriptions because they offered delivery. After a few “fills” we quickly learned our move to CVS was a mistake. For reasons never clear to us, our maintenance meds could not be delivered and we never were able to take advantage of the delivery service for which we were paying $10 per month. What we did get was non-stop unwanted emails and texts.

The pharmacist at Sam’s called us to confirm that we had switched to CVS and explained that non-controlled medications could be shipped to us for free. We also had the option of 2 free same day deliveries.

Not only did WE switch back to Sam’s Pharmacy, but we switched our parents, who live an hour away. Like us, they have mobility issues and love having meds sent to their front door. And of course they are now members of Sam’s. During the first visit they went on a buying spree. My mother said several times “this place is way classier than BJ’s.” Finally, my father made me set up Scan and Go while in the store because he wanted to scan items like I was.

We can’t fully express how much we value our relationship with the the Pharmacy staff (Nick, Sandy and Mellisa). I mean, come on; Nick even has my date of birth memorized

I think that since 2020, we have convinced a dozen people to get a membership at Sam’’s,

And, all the credit for our loyalty owes to Nick and Sandy!

Pharmacy is top notch. Curbside and home delivery is amazing. We can’t say enough good things about the pharmacists and staff.”

“Thank you for the best checkout experience ever at Market Bistro in Latham. Yesterday I did a quick shop. As I entered the checkout lane, the lovely woman who was bagging noticed I was in a sling. She immediately took over unloading, scanning large items and bagging. She then got someone to help me to the car. I was blown away. This was such a positive experience that needs to be shared and given the praise deserved.

“I switched from CVS to ConnectRx about 3years ago and wish I’d done it sooner. I don’t have a car. CVS’ “delivery” was hit or miss through the mail. ConnectRx delivery is by a vehicle driven by a very competent and pleasant driver. You get to know many of the people there and you get top notch service when you call. They call me when refills are coming due and they always deliver when they say they will. It’s really old-fashioned service in a world that’s lost a lot of that. I’m a fan!”

“When I called on the phone to see if my daughter could get her prescription filled there that her usual pharmacy did not have Jacqueline was extremely nice and helped me set up a profile for her so that I could get the medicine easily however what I do not like about the pharmacy is that you have to have a consultation even if you already know how to use the medication they do not ask you do you need a consultation? They force it upon you Another thing that I really did not like was when I came in as I am new to this pharmacy, I stood in front of the pick up window where there was somebody waiting to help. She was not friendly at all, she did not greet me and said she said I’ll be with you in a moment and then when I was still standing there, she looked up at me and said actually in a rude way can you go wait by the exit sign me being new to the pharmacy had no idea where the exit sign was,and as soon as I stepped back, another pharmacist yelled out can I help the next person a gentleman behind me who came after me tried to go in front of me and I had to excuse myself and tell him I was there first I was helped without a problem, but I felt like as a new customer this is no way to treat people. I was actually thinking about switching my pharmacy to Walmart until this interaction.”

“WONDERFUL pharmacy staff! Highly recommend. I have needle anxiety that is exacerbated by the smell of rubbing alcohol. I came in for three vaccines already very anxious. They were phenomenal at responding to my special needs. Pretty much the whole team communicated with each other to come up with with alcohol alternatives, distraction techniques, extra privacy, and emotional support.

The man who gave me my shots was calm, took his time, and offered to make the situation as comfortable as he could. He did not make me feel freakish for my special needs. He was the first person I spoke to, and oversaw everything through to the end.

A super nice woman popped in to see if she could help out, and was fantastic at soothing me. She had an absolutely lovely personality. I would trust her with the smallest and most fearful child. She had no purpose in that room other than to give me emotional support. I think the team sent her in specifically for her skill with nervous patients.

I felt safe and respected throughout the whole process. Nobody made me feel ashamed for having special needs; in fact, they went above and beyond in offering everything everyone could think of to help my anxiety. They even gave me a comic book collab between Marvel and Pfizer! :) If people like them had been in charge of my vaccines as a child, I probably wouldn't have needle anxiety to begin with.

I'd recently had a bad experience at a different Walgreens, and having an exceptional experience here has made it impossible for me to hold any resentment against the brand. They not only provided a caring personal experience, but secured my customer loyalty. Excellent individuals with excellent leadership make for an excellent store. I'm wearing my three red bandaids with pride!”

“The employees were quite composed, cool and professional as anticipated. CVS is unique in consistently selecting very mature, reserved and friendly employees throughout the chain.

“I came to CVS in a hurry looking for Sodium Chloride Opthalmic Ointment and couldn't find it. I saw an employee stocking shelves and politely asked him for help and told him that I was in a rush. He quickly stopped what he was doing and asked what I needed. I gave him the description and he searched on his phone for it. At first we went to the pharmacy area and it couldn't find it. Then we went to Aisle 21, and found something similar but it wasn't thointments ointment. Finally we headed back to the backward again by the pharmacy and then we found it. I was extremely grateful for his assistance. I asked his name just to leave this review. He said Brady, like Tom Brady or Brady Brunch. We had a good laugh and I proceeded to check out.
