A friend Recently purchased a recliner from the La z boy store in Latham. The Recliner was delivered broken. He Called the store and spoke to the manager named Chris Roberts and was told that he now owns the chair and that he would need to wait for repair to come next week. He requested that the chair be picked up and a new be delivered as He paid quite a bit of money for this chair. Chris told him that there was nothing that he can do and that he now owns the chair and would have to wait for repair company.
This is poor customer Service and shame on you, Chris for not handling this appropriately. How can a company like La-Z-Boy not have a quality control department that inspects their furniture prior to delivery? This needs to be rectified with a new recliner and the old one removed at no cost.
He will be contacting the Department of Consumer protection, his attorney and the local
News station so that other consumers do not end up in the same situation.

Our sales associate, Annie, was a pleasure to work with. She was very pleasant, helpful and relaxed in her approach. I anticipate that the rocker recliners we bought will be as high quality and as satisfactory as the other La-Z-Boy furniture I have purchased.

I stopped in a few days ago and was met by Annie, I told her my situation and she took the time to help me find a recliner. I stated that I would be back with my wife to make the final decision in a couple of days. I went to the store to meet my wife there and when I walked in Annie and my wife had already met and she figured out from our previous meeting who my wife was meeting. Great experience!

Bought my La-Z-Boy recliner in 2014. Have loved it since. I have major spine issues in neck and lumbar spine, other arthritis and fibromyalgia; my recliner is the most comfortable place for me in my house. I often even fall asleep there. So it was time for a new one (I’m keeping my current one, it’s still serviceable). Went to their sale on 10/5, worked with the SAME sales woman who sold me my last chair a decade ago! Heidi was awesome, helped me find a new model that is super comfortable and in my price range, was attentive but not pushy/aggressive, gave me ample time to make my decision, and made the sales experience totally no-pressure and very pleasant. My new chair is being delivered this week. And when it is time in another decade or so for another new recliner, I will absolutely return to La-Z-Boy!

My experience was satisfying. I went into the store, told the salesperson what I wanted, and they showed me the exact chair I had described.
