After having to make a difficult decision due to some unforseen circumstances, I was forced to have to sell my mom's house. Overwhelmed, I submitted an inquiry and was connected with Leah Slocum. I explained that this needed to be done expeditiously due to medical expenses taking precedence, and further inquired about getting the house "show ready" (since I reside in SC)... Leah was able to use resources to help clean out the house, donate the majority of items, get it cleaned, photographed and on the market in record time. After immediately getting offers, Leah contacted us with a strategy plan to get the most "bang for our buck." Within a few weeks, the house was under contract and due to accepting a cash offer, the house was sold after only about a month. During the process Leah maintained communication and assisted with every request we had. In my opinion, Leah is by far the best realtor and she went above and beyond to limit any added stress. I highly recommend not only Keller Williams Realty, but also Leah Slocum for any realty needs.

Tried finding out if a property was still available by calling Scott Varney's office. He has a big sign in front of the property with his face however it's a waste of money! I have called three times. His secretary sees my telephone number and immediately drops my calls!!? I thought people from upstate were supposed to be friendly and helpful. What realtor behaves like this?Don't walk ...run!

As first time homebuyers the entire process can be overwhelming. The agent you choose can make a significant difference. We had the "privilege" of working with this establishment and was represented by Melissa M and Jen D. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. When you use the term advocate, that's exactly what they did from the beginning. We got an appointment outside their normal working schedule and they went right to work. Giving us directions and advice all the way. Making sure the builder was not taking undue advantage of our naivety of the entire process. Words cannot qualify how much we appreciate this team. Even after the whole process they still reach out and advocating for perfection. This is very rare. I have heard stories where clients are chasing after their agents so they can be adequately represented. We didn't have that issue at all. We now see them not as friends but as family. We will forever appreciate this team

A professional at the top of her game, Diane Sluus made the complex process of selling a home seem effortless. We just closed on the sale of our eighty year old four bedroom in East Greenbush, which sold for list price, on the first day! When both seller and buyer are happy, the broker has done an outstanding job!The sale was complicated by four owners living in three different states; Diane took it all in stride. Time from offer to closing was about a month. Unbelievable!I would recommend Diane without reservation.

Ms. Hennessey was so unprofessional and clueless of the actual real estate laws it's shocking that she still has a job and a license tbh. My lawyer was disturbed by her sense of entitlement and overall juvenile behavior regarding our prior rental at one of her units she manages for a man who lives out of state. The worst experience we have ever had dealing with a horribly inexperienced property manager. Christina will not only claim repairs take months to address, (we found one very easily several times.... rather than deal with her incompetent husband who consistently no shows or forgets necessary tools for simple jobs) but still she will enlist her husband to do the repairs, which are substandard. My elderly mother and my movers nearly injured, again on the stairs her husband"fixed" and were falling apart only months later.... before I miscarried I had to traverse construction work he decided to begin without notice and while I was literally pregnant... This repair was only rushed to avoid more legal action from my attorney. AVOID Ms. Hennessey and any of the properties she manages..I doubt she does any better at sales...as we decided to go with a wonderful and professional agent from CORE.Shame on you Christina! You took advantage of our family who consistently helped you upgrade and fix your property because you're too lazy to do your own job. Then had the audacity to claim I messed with electrical wiring, false claims of breaking the terms of our lease which you had to back down from because you knew my attorney had plenty of evidence to the contrary. This woman is clueless and incompetent. Avoid her like the plague.

Some of the worst property managers I have ever encountered!! Ms. Hennessey in East Greenbush/rensselaer should be AVOIDED at all costs, and have her license revoked permanently! For harassment, and for sub par work which caused us physical injury and mental discomfort sorting our tenure at one of her properties on 3rd st. Her husband does shoddy cheap construction work, but only AFTER she is threatened back with legal action for lack of heat and safe enrtyways. Unacceptable that the tenant can do better legwork than the actual woman in charge of managing this unit. Not only does she not know the actual laws of NYS real estate, she will also attempt to threaten you with ridiculous claims.... which my attorney quickly addressed and she had no options but to back down and fix the issues. Unreal this woman has a business license. She also will show up late and dressed in leggings with holes......smh. Shameful.

My boyfriend and I began contact with this agent due to a rental apartment we looked at and applied for. It started with them telling us we were their top choice, but wanted us to move in 2 weeks from when we viewed the apartment. Because we couldn’t move in that time frame which our date of move in was listed on our application, they said they would only do it if we paid $500 more for security. After we discussed this matter, they agreed for us to only pay the regular security and to move in as stated on our application. Our agent congratulated us on getting the listing. We scheduled a time and day to meet up. We met with our agent, went over our lease, paid & signed that night. The following day we get told the landlords don’t want to sign the lease to us because we have a large dog. Which was stated in our application with them. The agent did return my money. But the lack of communication & misunderstanding was truly disrespectful and undoubtedly unprofessional. To receive a text message only.. the following day.. that you are backing out of our lease that was signed.. I would not recommend anyone to come here.

Unscrupulous business pracrice. Accepted an offer and then showed the house after the seller verbally accepted offer. Lost the house because of it. Don't use them.

We are looking to relocate to Upstate NY. Found a house for sale offered by Keller Williams Capital District - 7 Spring Road in Glenville, NY. We have sent 3 emails with questions to the listing agent, 4 emails to the Keller Williams Capital District office, called and left 3 voicemails - with zero response in return. It is great that real estate sales are brisk. Apparently so brisk that Keller Williams Capital District and their agents can ignore buyers.

Been calling and leaving messages to see property. ( Cindy Ward). Realtor text me and ask for my email address so she could send me the information "it would be quicker" A week later I returned the text asking " This is quicker"? "Oh I thought my associate sent it" NO. Again Sent nothing !!! Called the Latham office the next day and associated there sent me property information with with maps and followed up the next day to see if I got everything I was looking for. Kudos to the Latham office. I wouldn't call Cynthia Ward!!! Sorry to the seller..

Utterly unacceptable customer service from Realtor Robert Taylor and KW Capital District. Mr. Taylor ceased contact with my fiancé and I out of nowhere in the middle of a transaction and with no explanation. After repeated attempts to reach Mr. Taylor (one in which a KW principal was copied), a complaint to New York State Bureau of Licensing Services, and a Better Business Bureau complaint, I still have not received ANY contact from KW. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. This is unacceptable and prospective home buyers should beware.UPDATE: I was informed by the Better Business Bureau that KW Capital District did not reply to my BBB complaint. As they continue to demonstrate, KW shows zero regard for customers and legitimate complaints. My suggestion to others who have complaints that KW fails to address is to file a complaint with the NYS Bureau of Licensing Services.Ask yourself...is this the type of customer service you'd want to receive when purchasing a home?

I was trying to help my son find an apartment in the Saratoga area and came across a listed by Penny Berg Keller Williams Realty Capital District. As he was coming from Florida, I contacted Peggy to have my other son who lives locally view the apartment. She referred us to Jason Morrill to arrange a tour and application. The apartment was perfect and my son submitted an application right away. As he has limited credit history my other son was co signing if needed. My son anxiously awaited to hear from ANYONE and emailed and text Mr. Morrill several times. I also reached out to Penny , again. All attempts at communication were ignored.I'd like to remind the team at Keller Williams that renters also become buyers and sellers as they establish themselves and they also deserve the respect that a buyer would receive.
