“The Prophet said, "The best of men are the men of Yemen". This may explain why the owner is the most humble, kind, and generous of All the Muslim in the Albany Area. The owner conducting himself like all Muslims are supposed too. He is always so generous to my family and we don't really know him. His staff are oustanding and helpful. For example, 11-30-23 his staff on duty at 10am helped me decide on same item of two different type. He introduced me to Algerian breakfast. Was supposed to last all week, didn' last two days and eaten with honey. I purchased many items from store this week. Especially steak for everyday of the week. Preparing a beautiful steak right now for Friday.”

“I guess this the only Market Bistro version of Price Chopper. Amazing grocery store experience. I'm not from the area but I stopped here for myself and then for an Instacart order. I hope they serve and sell the same menu items- i thought the pasta fagioli looked interesting so I got some and I don't think I can find that anywhere else!!! Instead of just beans and ditalini, there were vegetables and sausage. It was so good. I will be back! The dairy section has some weird cow milking whirlygig.. Definitely adds to the unique shopping experience”

“Want to thank Joey at the bakery for making my niece’s birthday party extra special!!!! When I told him I wanted to order the strawberry, whipped cream bar cake, he immediately asked how many people would be involved. When I told him 7 adults and four children, he suggested that I order the triple bar cake!!! It was perfect. It was so delicious and so beautifully presented. His interest and especially his sense of humor made my experience over the phone and in store delightful. He is a true asset to my favorite store!!! Cindy Mahoney”

“The staff are friendly and efficient. They have gone above and beyond for us on more than one occasion. As a bonus, all our scripts are MUCH less expensive than they were at the store we used to go to.”

“This is a nice, well stocked target store. Some of them never have full shelves but I'm my experience this one usually has what I'm looking for. Hopefully this continues despite current supply chain issues.”

“Thank you (Coach), Sarah, for going above and beyond today in addressing my frantic search fir ICE MELT in time for tomorrow's storm. Out of the several individuals, you took the time to address my request by calling the pallet haulers, and coming from behind the service center and walking over to the area the pallet was and actually removing the plastic wrapping, so that I could buy them. others told me to wait or call back or this or that. Sarah (Coach), you did not. I see good future ahead for you. continue to do what you did today- practicing excellent customer Service with understanding and compassion.Cheers,Cordell B.”

“Convenient to get to as it's located on three busy through roads. Off-road parking. Has a lot more food items than it had. Store could use more space to hold all the things...food, decorations, cleaning supplies, office needs...a lot offered!!”

“Have you ever tried to call a grocery store? Lots of supermarkets talk about how much they value customer service. But if you ever want to put that to the test, there's no easier way than by picking up the phone. Mostly because supermarkets aren't really set up for that kind of customer interaction. Generally speaking people show to the grocery store and interact with the staff face-to-face. Calling a supermarket can be a Kafkaesque nightmare of phone trees, and extensions that ring forever without ever being answered. But one time I needed one very specific product. It was only something that could be found at Hannaford, and the closest Hannaford to my home had just run out of stock. Before making the drive up to Latham, I wanted to make sure the deli counter had a couple of hot Nature's Place rotisserie chickens, and that they could put them aside for me. I called. The phone was answered quickly, and politely. I was immediately routed to the right department. The person I spoke to was polite and reassuring. And when I arrived, everything was waiting for me as promised. That's five star customer service right there. The rest of the supermarket is just fine. It's certainly one of the better ones in the are. But except for special occasions, the closer Hannaford locations will do in a pinch. More than anything, I felt compelled to share the story of a customer service operation that really has it right. Bravo.”
