As long time customers, my wife and I stopped in for 2 pedicures before she had foot surgery. While I was attended to immediately, she sat in cold water for 15 minutes without so much as a word from anyone. She finally got up, dried her own feet and was leaving when someone finally asked her what was wrong and offered to have the sleeping gentlemen at the first table to do her pedicure. In the mean time, a young lady came in after us and was attended to immediately. The staff were laughing at my wife as she left. We are beyond disappointed. Absolutely unprofessional!

I just got the best pedicure from Joy. Her name fits her as she is a joy to have as a technician! She is kind, gentle, and genuinely cares about you as a person in the chair. I’ve tried many locations and have horror stories to share. That is not the case with Joy at City Nails. I will continue to drive 30 minutes and pass many salons on my way back as she has earned the salon a repeat customer and referral!

Had a pedicure today the person who took me was very very inpatient. This is not my first visit but, it will be my last. From the time you enter the door, pickening your choice of polish your being rush even if there are not a lot of customers. They do not tell you that they will charge you $5 to $6 bucks more if your using your bank credit card. This information should be listed and visable for customers to see. The facial expression they give to one another when you, as a customer need to speak up for youself..it really amazes me to see this type business offering poor customer service who serves a multitude of many of customers located conveniently in the latham area. Before leaving i even left the man a tip with no thank you.....rudely if i may say i will pass my experience on to my family members as well as my friends and colleagues.

I tried for the first time today, I usually don’t like going to new places but it’s Sunday..
So I decided to Try number 40 cat eye
And it was completely see-through because the nails that they use are the cheap ones it’s not clear tips. It is the whiteish cloudy colored tips. It was see-through on two and even three coats, and he did four coats. PLUS the clear top coat And my nails are bubbled. I have very high, thick, round nails and they’re supposed to be straight in square I am so uncomfortable. I asked him a few times if he could fix it. This is not what I wanted. If I knew that this was gonna happen. I wouldn’t have gotten the cat eye and save an extra 20 bucks. From the up charge… He wouldn’t file them or anything. He said it would ruin them and I mean he wouldn’t even file the sides to help manipulate A LITTLE on the shape… He said that’s what happens. That’s what happens. Well, I didn’t ask for four coats of freaking GEL polish. If you knew, I was gonna look like this why would you keep doing it? Because he wants me out because it’s quantity over quality!!!!
He wouldn’t give me a discount I had to pay full price And I absolutely hate the shape I like the color of the cat eye that is it. I came home and I started filing underneath again to manipulate the shape and it’s starting to look a little better, BUT I shouldn’t have To do this. The place has no decorations everyone just wants you in and out And it was not a vibe.

Have been going here for years. Was in a couple weeks ago and thought they were rude. The girl who did mine seemed way to rushed and they were not busy. Also purchased a gift certificate that day. Brings my change back and certificate and wouldn't give me 2 seconds to put the stuff in my pocketbook.Ready to kick me out of the chair. Won't be back.

I have never left a review before but this woman deserves it. The owner of the establishment was the rudest woman I have ever experienced. I have been going to this salon religiously for 10 years I get the same thing every time ANC +$5 for tip +$5 for almond shape. Today she doesn't ask me how long I want them I said wait I want them a little longer bc they're gonna be shaved to almond shape. She says if you want long extra $5. I said I have come for 10 years and never been charged extra for length the point of the tip is to add length to my nail (I stil get them pretty short so I can function). She said I have worked here for 15 years never seen you. I said oh so now you're accusing me of lying about coming here for 10 years!? Take the tips off and I walked out. I will NEVER go back!!

Long time customer and it would seem they have just fallen off , all the staff is extremely miserable , poor communication ; I would normally get a full set but I tried for a manicure because if you can’t get that right I wouldn’t trust you with a my money or my full set ; manicure completely sucked Ice cold water , didn’t listen to the shape I asked for , the massage was just lotion tossed on top of my hand without any real effort and the paint looked like my 12 year old did it . Not at all worth the money and honestly this isn’t for the owner to contact me it is just they suck now and it makes me sad because I’ve been coming her for over 12 years # don’t waste your money

I have frequented this salon for many years and even referred friends. Started getting pedicures, first round was great, went last week, not so good and decided to give them another chance today for a pedicure..
HORRIBLE! My feet were dry, callous skin on my heels still there and my French tip was crooked! I just dried my toes and walked out!!
I went to sally beauty to buy stuff
Next time, I’ll stick to my salons in Loudonville!
