215 Lark St, Albany“I've used alacrity for a few projects now and they're always great. They might not always be the cheapest option, but they definitely do the best job and offer the best help when working to make sure your framing project is exactly what you're looking for.”
“We enjoyed night 1 of 10 of TroyGlow. It was a wonderful way to explore a small slice of Troy and enjoy easily accessible artwork situated throughout.
Bravo!”

56 2nd St, Albany“This was my first performance at the Albany Barn. The play "MRS. PACKARD" was so well done. The acting was impressive and riveting. I was greeted by one of the members as I entered who gave me a brief orientation of the building and the residents who live there. I strongly recommend this to anyone who loves the arts and wishes to support the Albany art community. Bravo!”
“Sam and his mom have been our framers for years and have never disappointed. They've framed everything from art posters to cross stitch to vintage photos to needlework from the 1800s. Every piece is treated with care and they take the time to help choose the perfect mounting every time.”

290 Delaware Ave, Albany“So glad I got to visit this local icon on their last day in business. It was a favorite haunt when I lived in this area in the 90s. So many great memories of unique, special films. Thanks for the memories Spectrum!”
“This is a great, small space to check out if you're already in the area and would like a little add-on to your day. It's like a little appetizer or dessert for a longer outing, but totally worth it. There are also some murals and sculptures outside of the gallery that are nice to check out and take a selfie with.”
“I've seen friends take classes here (pottery) for a while and they've loved the classes! I am a local art teacher and started teaching art at a school that had not had visual art in the curriculum for several years. As a result, there weren't that many supplies and I was struggling with figuring out what I could do with a small budget. I posted, asking for help to the Albany community on the Albany Buy Nothing Group (on Facebook) that I am a part of. Karen graciously donated a LOT of art supplies to my art classroom!! I was blown away by her generosity. I packed up my car and she gave me things that weren't in use anymore and have come in handy in my classroom such as collage material, scrap fabric, tons of containers for paint water, crayons, and pencils, tempera paint, lots and lots of paper, and different odds and ends that you'd find around an art classroom. When I started my job, because of so many years without art, I walked into basically an empty classroom! It was so daunting, and Karen was so kind to me. The Albany Art Room really helped me hit the ground running for when the school year started. She donated crayons, aprons, and easels too! It really is so wonderful to make a connection with another artist and educator in the Albany area, and I think fondly of The Albany Art Room and Karen almost every few days when I use something in my classroom that she's given me. I am planning on taking some pottery classes at The Albany Art Room for fun, because I haven't been a student in an art class in a while. I am so excited to learn more about this space, the people, the classes, and the community it offers.”
“Such a darling shop! I love coming on the weekends during the farmers market and theres always new stuff. I recently bought a mid century modern dresser I'm obsessed with. Owner is pretty negotiable. Definitely worth the stop.”
“Had a wonderful first visit in the store today. They have an absolutely amazing collection of vintage gear there and are such a pleasure to chat with. I ended up spending almost 2 hours in there! 10/10 would recommend!”
“Paul and Patrice are outstanding in every sense of the word. They go above and beyond to make sure the client receives the best results. Along with Morningside Gallery being a quality business, Paul and Patrice are two of the nicest people you could ever meet.”
