I visited Mancino's today at the recommendation of their long time customer. I had a St. John Knit jacket that I wanted altered. I had never been in the store and was excited to meet them based on the referral. I guess it was Tony who was in the balcony and leaned over asking me what did I want. I told him I had a jacket I wanted tailored. He simply told me no. He had no time to do it. He did not even come downstairs and greet me or look at the jacket. I then mentioned who referred me and he said, "I don't have time and even if I did, I do my own label first and I am at least a month out and so I am not going to take your jacket."I was offended by his tone, inattentiveness and lack of effort to engage with me. He did not even come downstairs to talk with me or show any interest in perhaps other business I might do with him. As a business owner I was appalled. Based on this exchange, I will not return and do not recommend anyone new who he doesn't already know, go there either as he clearly does not need or want new business and appears biased against anyone walking in. Edit: nope, we did do business! I wasn’t with my friend. Brought an ombre pink gold dress to get it tightened at the waist you said you would place darts in it. Had me pay upfront 60$. I picked up my dress 3 weeks later (lady over the phone said it was ready), it wasn’t even altered! Exact same, no darts placed. Tailor even forgot to alter it. Also other places don’t have you pay upfront.

Tony is unbelievable, his hemming for my suit pants and taper cut was perfect for my European vacation. I also asked if he could get it to me quickly and he was happy to oblige. I will be coming back to get some custom clothes done, and for all my tailoring needs.

I feel so lucky to have Mancinos right down the street! They know my husband’s size (off the top of their head) and always help me put together a nice gift. It saves us so much time to have a well curated mens store in town—easy to drop in and get staples as well. Love shopping there!

Mancino's is a gem of a local business. They are our family's go-to for any custom clothes, tailoring, and also stock great clothes off the shelf. Their tailoring is top notch, with great attention to detail. It is so great to come and see Tim and his wife helping local families.

I walked in my long standing customer and Tony practically threw me out of the store because he was busy sitting tuxedos and his wife wasn’t there but the worst part was that I was using a walker from an injury and she showed me no courtesy no compassionate no no nothing I will never spend another penny in the store

I got my first suit back in July for my brother wedding. It came out to be stunning. It fits like a glove. Tony Mancino is a professional and you can tell he's been a tailor for 50 years. The Neapolitan tailors are one of the best in the world. Tony is carrying on the Italian tradition right here in New York. I'm getting my third bespoke suit this year from Tony. He also does great custom made coats and shirts. Can't ask for a better tailor! He knows what is best for his customers.
