I was left so content after shopping at Petco today! I decided to switch to storing my dogs food in a container and Desiree went out of her way to help me in the best way possible! Not only did she do me a huge favor and help me find the best container for food storage, but she was extremely sweet, funny, and so caring to make sure i only have the best for my dog! Please give her a raise, i’m so thankful she was there today!! :)

I wish I could give zero stars. I took my dogs to the groomer at this location. I had appointments for both dogs. When I checked them in I was informed that it might take up to 3 hours. One of the dogs was only getting a bath and a nail trim, the other needed a cut too. After 3 hours I got a text that the dog who only needed the bath and nails was ready for pick up. While I was waiting for him in the tiny, filthy entrance to the grooming area I hear someone scream his name. I rushed into the absolutely sweltering little room, crammed with dog crates and probably 85 degrees, to find the groomer holding my dog. She immediately started screaming at me “your dog jumped out of the kennel! Your dog is banned from coming back here again…..” something like that and over and over again. Never once apologized. For reference- my dog is 13 years old and weighs 16 lbs. Anyone should be able to take him out of a crate without him jumping (or falling or being dropped). At this point I was still waiting for my other dog- About a half an hour later someone called to say I should come get her and that they were, “aborting her service” meaning they weren’t going to finish with her grooming- this was 3 and a half hours after she was checked in. It seems like she got a bath, half of a haircut and some of her nails trimmed (not the dew claws). Both dogs were clearly traumatized by this experience as well. I paid $78 for the dog who was dropped or fell, nothing for the dog with 1/2 a haircut. No one ever apologized, and all acted like it was some how my fault.
This facility should be shut down for ethical violations. The condition of the room where the dogs are stored for as many as 4 hours is filthy, hot, and airless. Inhumane.

Went in to purchase a ScoopFree Litter box. Larchmont Petco was charging $169. It was $99 ON THE PETCO WEBSITE!! Same exact litter box!!

I brought my dog for grooming yesterday. I had the first appointment of the day, when I arrived immediately noticed that the grooming area was dirty, full of hair and messy. So, technically the crew from the previous day did not clean the work area before leaving. I was grossed, the groomer quickly vacuumed the huge amount of hair that was left behind and took my dog in. I should have cancelled the appointment right at that time and I regret not doing it. If the area we can see what dirty I can only imagine how is the area where they have the kennel. My dog spent an hour in a half there and then I picked him up. This morning while vacuuming my dog’s bed I noticed a little black dot, it was a tick! An adult tick! But it does not end there, this afternoon I found another tick on his mat in our family room. My dog had not ticks prior going to Petco Larchmont yesterday , I am a clean freak and I vacuum his beds and sofas daily. I have never seeing any kind of bugs on his beds, or play areas. He definitely got this at Petco. I am so disgusted and upset about this. I paid $100 for a service and now I have to pay who knows how much to the vet to get my dog cleared of ticks!

Petco is one of my favorite places to go. They always have everything you need. I have a dog two cats and a bird we thank you for always having great prices and caring staff.

The manager, Desiree was so helpful today and had such a great personality and made everything a great interaction and transaction she did her absolute best to help us get what we needed and understand it all. Nate was so helpful with bearded dragons!

I was looking for a certain item I did look myself couldn't find it.. I mentioned what I couldn't find to this employee at the register she went To look for it and came back with the item I requested I was very happy that shows good sales people.. People who care.
