I wish I could give this place zero star. Stay away from this scammer. Their teachers just assigned a task to the kids but did not teach any drawing skills. Moreover, They keep charging your credit card even after you cancelled the class. Definitely a scammer.

My family LOVES One River. All the classes re helpful, and they help us feel more confident. The ideas are creative, and the instructors always take the time to help us improve our skills. Even if you don't particularly enjoy art, I guarantee you will love this art school.

My daughter loves One River. She attends regular classes and camp during the summer. The instruction is amazing. If you have a kid who loves art, One River is the place!

I DO NOT LIKE GIVING BAD REVIEWS BUT I’m a little confused by the good reviews here, maybe it’s just our particular experience… my 6 yo daughter had been going here for the last two months and she have not done anything that was in the description of the Art Shuffle class. My daughter has been given art paper and markers/paint and told to do whatever she wants. How is this art class?!!! What are they teaching her?! NOTHING. My daughter at this point doesn’t want to even go to class, our home have more art supplies than this place give in class.STOP ATTENDING CLASSES YOU SAY…We’ve decided weeks ago to cancel these classes by the end of August BUT that in itself seems to be an impossible task. The online “subscription” option doesn’t have an option to cancel. We’ve emailed TWICE in the last 4 days and got no response. Spoke to someone face-to-face and they said they don’t know how to cancel the subscription (which comes out automatically) We were told to give a call, with no answer for the past few days. And we can’t even remove our card information from our profile!!Addendum: I’ve located how to cancel on the FAQ on their site and it’s says staff was supposed to give us a form to cancel subscription 300 DAYS AHEAD IF TIME. Why didn’t the staff give this to us when we asked???

Excellent school. My daughter went here for a few months and was able to participate in their art exhibit where they showcased the students’ work. Had to cancel the membership due to moving out of the area and they made the process so seamless and easy. Rescheduling classes was never an issue. Very pleasant experience overall.

Both of my daughters LOVE their time at One River. Carol, the director, is amazing and incredibly involved with the kids. The projects are always interesting and engaging, and both girls have been challenged by their teachers, Frank and Vinny. Thank you, One River for opening in Larchmont, and providing my children with an valuable outlet for their creativity.

The One River School located in Larchmont is an excellent art school. It has the perfect combination of fun and education. My son has been taking classes here since it opened. He loves coming here and has grown so much in his artistic ability. Carol, Darren, Frank and Vinny are all knowledgeable, enthusiastic and caring. They are passionate about providing a comprehensive art program for their students. They make One River truly feel like a family.

My daughter has taken weekly classes as well as camps at One River in Larchmont with a number of instructors covering mediums from street art to photography to technical drawing to digital art. Not only have her artistic abilities improved but her knowledge of artists and interest in art has grown tremendously. Carol leads an incredible team of teachers and really knows what to suggest that my daughter will enjoy. We have enthusiastically referred many friends to One River because there really is something for every child to try.
