Excellent local store: we shop also at other Larchmont/ Palmer Avenue liquor stores. For this past Thanksgiving we shopped at this store and it was well adviced shopping. We got a very nice 12 year bourbon, an excellent Late Bottled Vintage, good Galician wines and others. Great staff and experience.

There may be a wine shop with worse customer service than Larchmont Wine & Liquor but fortunately I have not found it. Unfortunately I did find this store, placed an on-line order, received a confirmation which included a note "It's our pleasure to serve you. If there are any problems with your order, someone will get back to you shortly."Apparently not having the item in stock and not knowing when or if it will be in stock is not a problem for them, and apparently it was my fault for not calling before I went in to pick it up which was the response of the employee in the store. Naturally an apology or even a sorry was too much to expect given their complete lack of focus or concern with customer service.So now there is a hold on my credit card and I have to go in and try to figure out how to cancel the order and get that lifted.I did see that at least one other shopper had a similar experience so here is my advice:1. Stay away from this store,2. If you do shop here do so in person or telephone - stay away from on-line ordering unless you are looking for frustration and a nasty attitude

Ordered July 2020, order was paid for and never shipped - no updates have followed. All efforts to contact someone have been ignored. It is now March, 2021 and I still have no order or refund. Would not recommend for e-commerce on any level.

I like Larchmont Wine & Liquor- they have a great selection of French wines - I have tried a few different ones and have been happy with them. They also carry one of my favorite California wines which I haven’t seen in many local stores. They have delivery within Larchmont which is very convenient.

What horrible service. I placed a $100 order for wine, waited five business days before contacting that my order was never placed and I never received any email updates about the order, only to get a response that they were all of a sudden out of the wine I placed an order for and my order was going to be cancelled. Inconsiderate garbage.

The guy was pleasant enough, but he took advantage of my lack of knowledge and charged me $50 for a $20 bottle of bourbon. It was not marked on the shelf, he just punched in the price, and like a s***** I f****** paid it!
