I needed to get my car looked at on a Friday morning after a brand new battery died. I suspected a parasitic draw or some electrical short but needed a professional to confirm. After calling around to various repair shops nearby, Jack's Automotive won my business by assuring me that my vehicle would be received, reviewed, and issues resolved quickly. Nothing about that assertion was true. After the initial phone call, communication from staff and ownership was abysmal. After the third business day of not hearing from anyone at the shop, I called and politely requested a status update. No updates. Nothing. It was as if I had to remind them my car was on their lot. On the fifth day with no report, finally I was begrudgingly assuaged (not very convincingly) that someone would call me by EOD to finally provide a vehicle assessment and potentially review repair cost with me. Unfortunately no one ever did. Needless to say, after waiting six days and finding out my car still had yet to be diagnosed, all confidence in the competency and professionalism of this establishment vanished. It was only after I told them I wanted to take my car elsewhere that "work" was actually completed by their team. Oddly, it took less than two hours after I said I wanted to take my business elsewhere for them to tell me my alternator needed to be replaced. At this point I continued to play along with the charade just to see if I could get an estimate for repair cost. However, it was not a revelation to find out even that was too much to ask. I was repeatedly told that an estimate for cost would be rough at best and in a ballpark and that could be (and would be) more. Honesty, transparency, and being forthcoming with information are clearly not present nor practiced by this business. Yeah, ok... I've digressed. My spidey-senses had been on high alert for several days already and this was the last straw. It took them 6 days (5 business days) and as many phone calls to finally provide the highly dubious diagnosis of an alternator replacement that they couldn't (would not) even price out. I quickly paid the $200 invoice for the non-existent work performed on my vehicle and got out of there as fast as I could. I'm grateful that's all they were able to swindle me for and nothing more. Fortunately, soon after I went with another nearby repair shop who came highly recommended. The experience was night and day. I'm grateful to report my car's electrical issue was finally and rightly fixed. Oh, and wouldn't you know it, surprise, surprise... it was NOT a "bad" alternator! In summary, considering the level of incompetence and rudeness incurred while dealing with Jacks Automotive, I've been compelled to warn anyone considering using this business. AVOID TAKING YOUR CAR HERE AT ALL COST!!!I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for reliable automotive repairs. Negative reviews like this come from real people who've had real world experience. Do yourself a favor and learn from our misfortune.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Racist biggot owner won’t let you go inside to purchase if you’re black. He responded to me wanting to go inside to buy a beverage with “there’s nothing inside” although the store says “Jacks Snacks.” If you are African American stay away from here. He will make you feel uncomfortable until you decide to just leave, which is what he wants.

Online says it's open 24 hours, but we went at 1am on our way home from the airport and really needed gas...and unfortunately they were closed.

Overpriced gas and after purchasing gas anyway they wanted to charge me cash for a candy bar! Do yourself a favor and look for another gas station!

Had a catastrophic issue with the Diesel Exhaust Fluid system on my 2500HD.Jack went above & beyond to replace an out of warranty DEF system and get me back on the road with minimal trauma - avoiding an additional $2,500 dealer chargeGreat work & highly recommended

Jack and his son Mike consistently deliver honest and fair work. They've helped me countless times over the past decade - brought me gas, done a fast emissions check and replaced my tires. Grateful to have a good garage to depend on!

This is an excellent place. I always take my car to them and I can tell they are very honest and competent -- my dad was a mechanic and I helped him when I was growing up. Really happy that they are in my neighborhood.

A SCAM - AVOID AT ALL COST. If I could give a zero I would. Brought the car in for a noise. $2,500 later noise still there. Kept blowing me off, shrugging their shoulders, saying they would get back to me and did not - and finally said it was something else and would cost an additional $2,000, but they would give me "a break" on labor. Worst communication between mechanics and father in front and son who is some sort of middle man. I went to another repair shop who diagnosed and fixed the problem without an issue. This place is a joke and a scam. I am sure if you need an oil change that could be done. But do not go there if there is a problem with your car more complicated than that. Worst repair shop ever! Ripped me off for $2,500 for work that did not need to be done. They should not be in business.

This is the most unprofessional, unknowledgeable "repair shop" i have EVER dealt with ANYWHERE. If you want to get your issue fixed or at the very least PROPERLY diagnosed, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. If they dont know you, these shady people will take your money and leave you without your car for days. Nobody there seemed to know anything about anything, from the owner Jack to his abnoxious son Mike. This was a waste of money and time to not even have the problem AT LEAST PROPERLY DIAGNOSED.
