It was my first time at Salon On the Avenue, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. My visit was for a hair coloring session with stylist Shauna Greiner, and it left me thoroughly impressed. From the outset, the salon exuded a welcoming and clean atmosphere, creating a pleasant environment for customers.
Shauna's approach was both personable and professional. She took the time to understand my preferences, offering insightful recommendations based on her expertise. What truly set Shauna apart was her efficiency...she worked diligently yet swiftly, ensuring that my hair was colored to perfection in record time(I having very thick long hair).
The end result surpassed my expectations. Shauna's skillful execution left me with beautifully done hair that received numerous compliments. Shauna's adept skills, proved to be the epitome of proficiency and excellence.

Fantastic, very professional salon at Supercuts prices. Shauna did a fantastic job on pretty drastic haircut just from briefly looking at the inspiration pic. The stylists are very friendly and personable. Will definitely be returning!Services: Shampoo & conditioning

Don't hesitate. Just make an appointment and let Shauna do her thing. I had no idea what I really wanted and let her just cut. It came out just as I hoped. Change is good and a haircut from this place.. is a great change. This was my 1st time here and I plan on going back. ?

When I walked in to my appointment I asked for Shauna who I was scheduled with and she was working on another girl. She said to come over and I tried showing her what I wanted and she didn't even look just said yep lay back. I haven't gotten my hair cut in 5 years. It's long, healthy and I don't put any heat in it. I told her this. I should've left knowing she didn't even see what I wanted to get cut. But I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I sat down and she shuffled the other girl she was working on to the sink while working on me. ALSO she put me in the same chair as the other girl she was working on. Super unsanitary. Literally just switched us. She pulled my hair so hard when she was brushing it and anyone who knows wet hair is delicate. She yanked and pulled so hard trying to brush it fast and I was in so much pain. Again benefit of the doubt. Then comes the cut. She blowdries and straightens my hair. I TOLD HER I haven't used heat on my hair in 5 years. My hair smelled burned after she was done. The burn smell lasted for hours after I left the salon I had to wash my hair at home just to get it out. Horrified I see the result. I asked for a cute bang and she gave me what I could've done at home and I'm not kidding it's trash. Honestly I had an amazing experience with the owner sometime last year who took the time to tell me to grow out my bangs a bit more so she can cut them just to come back and have Shauna give me the worst cut of my life. NEVER EVER COMING HERE AGAIN. Bad vibes. Trash cut. -1/10 would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Ever.
