“The pharmacy staff are absolutely wonderful. But my complaints are they seem to be grossly understaffed, as phone calls are extremely difficult to get picked up, window waits for an initial customer interaction are rather long at times, and everyone is running around seemingly 24/7 busier than a fast food place during rush hours. I won't give low stars because the staff don't deserve that slap in the face, but there's definitely some internal issues with hiring management to not have more people available.”

“Two pharmacists that really care about their patients. They do free delivery, vaccines, auto refills, text reminders, messaging options, and many other things. Break away from the chains and stick to independent pharmacies. They care way more and handle your matters more diligently.”

“Family Medical Pharmacy is what a pharmacy should be. Friendly, personal, always on-time, home delivery and the best pharmacist and support staff in the area. Takes me back to the days of old when people were friendly and the customer was important. Cannot thank them enough for always accommodating me, under any circumstances. Randy Strauss”

“If you don’t use Alden Pharmacy already you need to start..I had an emergency script called in right before they closed and after calling we wouldn’t get it till morning but they were nice enough to stay open a little late just to help me get my script, which was an anti nausea much needed after surgery went wrong . Thank you Alden Pharmacy!”

“This is one of my favorite places to go to for my medication needs! The people who service you are very nice and helpful so you can get taken care of and out of the store! Not that you want to leave right away because of the neat items that Larwood Pharmacy has to offer. For a smaller size store it sure has great big store atmosphere! I think if you go try Larwood's Pharmacy out you will see what I mean!”

“Had my first visit today with Dr. Richard Karaga absolutely loved him ! Can’t say enough wonderful things about him and the Staff. I was greeted by Melinda and she was wonderful and at the end of my visit I met Bridgett she was great and very helpful. I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful my visit was today. I never felt rushed or that my questions were an annoyance and they were all answered. Thank you Dr. Karaga and Staff for making this first visit a pleasant one.”

“I have issues with fillers that are used in some medications so I started getting a couple of my meds compounded with Pine Pharmacy. Every single transaction I've had with them has been truly amazing. Everyone there is kind and very responsive. I live a couple hours away so they have to mail my meds to me but they are very prompt. I highly recommend them.”

“We got our COVID boosters and the pharmacy tech could not have been more helpful. She knew every little thing that could go wrong and headed most off befirectgey happened. Other pharmacies (see Wegmans) are still trying to figure out how to do the boosters but Walmart just does it.”

“Cy's Elma Pharmacy is like one of those old fashioned general stores tucked away in the country. Polite and personal sales staff. Lovely gift department with some of the finest ceramic and bone china pieces from around the world. If you need medication or OTC items, snacks or household sundries, the latest in skin care or that special gift for someone, Cy's should be your go to pharmacy. One of my favorites ?”

“The pharmacist Lisa went out of her way, doing something she had no obligation to do, 1 hour before I left the state for Christmas a few days ago. She helped me get my medication filled, and without it I would have had to cause my family to stay home and be apart. She worked out everything and filled it immediately, and when I told her on the phone that “I guess I’ll have to figure it out” (getting the script sent to another state), and she refused, saying she doesn’t want me to be without the medicine I need and “she will take care of it”, and she did immediately. This is the type of medical professional I aspire to be. Amazing people”

“Every once in a while you find a business that is staffed by such exceptional people, that you rate every other business you come in contact by that business and by those people who run that business. There's Matt, Jake, Fran, Nicole, etc. My wife and I have been with this particular Walgreens since about 2003. There was also Andy and Mary taking care of us at this Walgreens location at the time we started here, who were also exceptional professionals. I want to make sure the following is understood, so that there is no doubt in just how exceptional these professionals at Walgreens on Main and South Union in Williamsville are... A couple of months ago, my wife retired about a year before she was going to, because I was diagnosed within the last few months with a terminal illness. It's not just my receiving a terrible terminal diagnosis, but with this particular illness/diagnosis, you become severely crippled first. I can only imagine in my worst thoughts that it's going to be a terrible way to die, especially the unknown of what the future will bring. I'm already losing the use of my hands and my forearms, with other associated medical issues occurring from time to time. So it's now, more than ever, VERY important that all of all of my medications (also per my heart attack in 2018) are filled swiftly, without mistakes and with people I can totally trust for my life and death pharmaceuticals and my wife's medications. These are the people I trust implicitly and my wife feels exactly the same way. When she recently retired, our retirement medical plan (both health and prescriptions) switched companies. The new medical insurance plans also wanted to tell us how and where we should get our pharmaceuticals, which would now be through through the mail! The mail??? I don't have to tell you how screwed up the mail's been these the past few years So when I started to apply for "drugs by mail", because that's what the insurance wanted, I saw how screwed up it was on so many different levels. So I made the decision to stay with Walgreens in Williamsville. With Matt, Jake, Fran, Nicole and the rest of the wonderful people there, I get the correct prescriptions on time with no mistakes. I can also ask questions about my drugs that are answered with my health and safety in mind Does it cost me a bit more to do this, over the plan that my insurance company wanted me to go with, by my not getting mine and my wife's prescriptions through the mail? Not by much, maybe another 12 to 25 bucks a month. But by staying with Walgreens in Williamsville, I'm with the wonderful, professional people who I consider beyond exceptional! Think of it this way... Some people who have the wherewithal to so pay for a doctor service known as "concierge service". This is where you live and if pay a doctor a set amount of extra money per year, so that you can get a hold of them (almost) immediately In any case, how is this any different? Just because I'll pay a tiny bit more a month ONLY because of our pharmaceutical plan wanting us to get cheaper meds by mail. My wife and I see this as an investment in our health. It's also an inadvertent type of payback, in the sense that we're helping to support the people who take such exceptional care of us And if that difference works out to 12 to 25 bucks more per month, it's a pittance compared to the care that is afforded to us by such terrific people. I didn't think it was this little of an amount of money until I looked into it, so I would suggest checking into doing your prescriptions with your personal pharmacy, over getting your drugs through the mail if that's what you've been doing and it's been nothing but a frustrating mess. I consider these exceptional people VERY good friends and the BEST professionals around of ÀNY business I've EVER dealt with”

“The best pharmacy anywhere!! This is the way they all should be, maybe they will consider offering training videos? They are actually concerned about their customers and are more concerned about their safety and health . You are not just a number here”

“I have only recently started shopping at Walgreens once they built this store which isn't too far from where I live. It has come in handy and been great to have in the neighborhood. Everyone from the pharmacy counter attendants, pharmacists, to cashiers has been friendly and helpful. Even when I have been sick as a dog, barely able to talk, and grumpy, they have been friendly (but not annoying). The store is very clean, shelves are stocked and neat. I haven't had issues using coupons and I can just enter my phone number for their rewards program. I usually have stopped here for stuff like generic cold meds, cough drops, nasal stuff. Also they run decent sales, like my allergy spray was priced little more than Walmart/Wegmans, but they had it buy 1/get 1 for 50% off deal and I could use a coupon for each, so it was a good savings. Good selection of gift and greeting cards when I am in a pinch and need something fast! Store has good amount of parking. Can be harder to get out of if you are trying to go back down French to the East (towards Transit) or onto Borden going North, but not impossible.”

“Wegmans is absolutely fantastic in every way except for price. They have the freshest produce, meat and bread. They have such a wide variety of products, you're just about guaranteed to find anything you could need here. The store is always clean and organized and the employees are friendly and professional. It just ends up being really expensive to shop here. I could go to some other cheaper stores around and spend $40 for what I need, and go to Wegmans to get essentially the same things and spend $100. I do love their subs too, they are delicious, highly recommend the Danny's Favorite.”

“I have never met a pharmacist so helpful as the Main Street, Clarence, NY Rite Aid one. New to Medicare and all that fun, he recontacted my doctor to get a alternative script that tied in with my insurance. Wow! He could have just said it's not covered and charged me the $38, but he did not. New cost $4. He is super sharp and of course always customer focused. I have gone there for a decade and they do not get better than him. I did not find them slow to help people and with help hard to find, this is a real hat's off to them and their process! Thank you.”

“Alex in the pharmacy was awesome. My medication wasn't in stock, but he was the only one, out of 5 other walgreens that I called, who looked up other walgreens that did have stock.”
