Cashier told customer he was gonna bang bang him next time he came in over a situation that the cashier started. A simple problem exaggerated by the cashier horrible experience will never go to speedy again!

Good luck getting inside if there is a blue Kia parked out front. The employee hides in the bathroom for hours and keeps the door locked. Great spot when you can actually get inside.

This gas station price gauges....raises price over 10 cents a gallon at least once a week or every couple of days. Stay away from this speedway; they have terrible customer service too! They are shameful!

The Portion Road Speedway. With 87 octane fuel reaching $4.05 per gallon in Las Vegas, I appreciate the price of $3.49 per gallon for 87 octane here. Actually my dad does, since he was pumping the gas for his vehicle. This Speedway is an old fuel station that dates back to at least the early 1980s when it was a Hess. Over the years it has been renovated. This includes the Cape Cod exterior of the convenience store. When I use to live in the area back in the 1990s this was one of the gas stations that I used to fill up my Chevrolet Celebrity then Mercury Cougar. Just like it was over two decades ago when it was a Hess, this is one of the easier gas stations to maneuver around and get in and out of. Unlike the Portion Road BP and generic gas station, and Exit 61 Mobil. The Sullivan Street to Ackerly Lane backway provides an option to exit onto westbound Portion Road. And just like it was decades ago when the Hess family owned it, it is clean. There is none of that graffiti on the gas pumps that spoils some gas stations. At the same time that it celebrates the past it celebrates the future. Where I looked out toward a convenience store that reminded me of a coastal Long Island Cape Cod house, my eyes took in my dad paying for the fill up by inserting his credit card. This alleviated the extra steps of stepping into the Cape Cod house convenience store. The fact that this is the gas station that my dad and I stopped at on Long Island is evidence that it generally a safe area. After my dad put in $3.49 per gallon for gasoline here, I will put in my $3.50 cents by saying that the Portion Road Speedway in Lake Ronkonkoma is a good gas station that has been that way from at least as far back as the President Reagan Administration.

Alfred is a terrible employee. He overcharged by 60 dollars then refused to even check the transaction on his register, let alone correct the issue. Avoid him and this speedway at all costs.

Terrible customer service. I came in here with 3 of my friends to get lemonade and water bottles. ONE of my friends asked to buy raw papers and the cashier (white guy, mid 30's with brown hair and glasses) who is clearly RACIST gave ALL of us a hard time, ID'd all of us even though were all clearly over the age of 25. I told him I was 27 years old, my ID was in the car and I was only purchasing water and lemonade, he still forced me to go outside and get my ID (totally unnecessary). After dealing with this obvious racial profiling situation, we left and I noticed the lemonades we purchased were EXPIRED!!

This store sucks. The employees barely speak English so they are hard to understand. Do NOT go to this store. Shop elsewhere.

The guy behind the register just told me that he couldn't give me back the change of $50. And I was gonna put $25. In my regular gas in my truck.

Gas and price is always good and quick, but the convenience store itself is horrible. The staff could care less you are standing there. If you need a pack of gum, expect to stand there 15-20 minutes while three employees who barley speak English stand around one register, and not even acknowledge your existence. If I need anything other than gas I go up the road to 7-11. Atleast there, they acknowledge your presence.

This gas station and convenience store sucks. Most employees here barely speak English and they try to over charge you at the register. Avoid!
