“At the start of the pandemic, these guys were the closest to me who were still running (my usual place had shut their doors). The owner is super prompt, kind, and helpful. These guys kept going and never shut their doors. I am eternally grateful they remained open and helped take one thing off my plate while I worked through the shut down.
Edit: After several years and an ownership change I stand by this review. The new owners are a wonderful family and are incredibly kind, I can’t recommend this place enough.”

“This place is small, not your usual spacious laundromat. But the employees are gold . They are so kind and helpful. Getting older and the aches and pains that come with it make hard for me to stand for many hours . So I have resorted to using their laundry service . They are always pleasant and helpful . I have not experienced this great treatment in other laundromats . I used to go to a different laundromat near my work . While that one was spacious and had TVS I would get dirty looks if I walked in at 10 min to 8 . This other place said their last wash was at 8 . If I asked the place near my work to use their laundry service , I was always treated with negativity. Oh no we are so busy they would say . I used to think why have a service that no one can use . The laundromat in Selden on Boyle Road is never like that . They are friendly when they see you and make you feel comfortable to be there . There are benches outside if you need to sit . Also the Deli next door is excellent as well . So you can do your laundry and get breakfast or Lunch at Kara's .”

“Awesome place . Staff is helpful & will let you know if a machine is broken & if I forget something behind when I leave , like my detergent they’ll tell me . Clothes come out great & smell much better than doing it at home . They have an app where you can pay for the machines instead of using quarters . Been coming here for a while now & I don’t plan on stopping”

“I saw some of the reviews of the guy who works at the front for being rude but it is absolutely not true! I don’t know the other’s feedback but I can utterly tell as a regular customer that me and my family have got a great service from him all the time and he has a good manner! As someone claimed in the reviews that the man in the front did not care about the lost items is true since the shop doesn’t take responsibility for the lost items in the first place!! You need to come back and find your own items instead of giving a call if you think you left it! Plus, the machines are clean and I’ve always had a positive experience from both workers and the shop for years!!”

“Where do I begin. Suki used to do all our dry cleaning and was my seamstress for over 15 years. She was sheer perfection . She has since retired. Now her daughter La who is remarkable fills her mommas shoes to the tee. And that’s no easy feat!. I recommended La to my childhood best friend. If you’re in need of a great seamstress I recommend La! She’s patient and her pricing is fair! God bless this family and their business.”

“Crazy busy in the afternoon and evening. The best time to ho is during the day closer to morning time and after 11pm. You have to pay for the dryer even if you wash your clothe for $25 per 15minutes but atheist they come out really dry.”

“As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help, all machines were in service and there are plenty! Tons of XL washers were available. And last to mention the place was clean. The floors need a little love but the hardly and dust.”

“I received a brand new full length, pleated dress in the mail. Uknowingly, the side invisible zipper was broken. I needed to wear the dress the next day to a funeral. I brought the dress to them in the morning shortly after opening. The tailor replaced with a stronger invisible zipper and pressed it. I was charged $35. I thought it was high for a zipper change, but because it was done in several hours and ironed to perfection i didn't complain. The clerk at the front desk was helpful, pleasant and informative. They even let my husband pick up the dress for me without a ticket or ticket number.”
