My daughter had her wedding ( that she always dreamt of) at Beach Club Estate and it was not at all a dream day.First the ceremony started late due to the wedding before going overtime so hers started late. My family had to help set up table’s and the outside garden.Favor’s were not set up for guest, wrong cake, and uncooked meat . Beware of this venue as they will book weddings with little to no time to set up for the next wedding. They have one person in charge of setting up all the weddings that day as well which is not right at all. Please make sure that whom ever is in charge of the ceremony pronouns the couples name correctly.

I have waited a couple of months to cool off because this post was gonna be lengthy. Was married on 9/30/23 and I left my reception in TEARS with how uncoordinated and unprofessional this venue and its staff were. The booking and planning process went off with no issues literally until the day of. To start, this venue does not "do rehearsals" which probably would have been beneficial given how incompetent everyone running the show was. Our weather wasn't optimal but for a venue that has been around longer than I've been alive, you'd think they'd know how to effectively handle inclement weather. I had a 12 pm wedding, and the venue only allows you there about an hour before, thus making it difficult for you to get photos prior to your ceremony. Because of the rain, majority of my photos were taken downstairs outside of the bridal suite. We had a vision in our head for that outside wedding on the lake and everything was moved indoors, into rooms that are way too small to accommodate their guest maximum of 135 (we had ~120). With that said, they didn't keep well to the timeline, not promptly announcing the major aspects of the party so we were scrambling to keep up. They did not help direct the bridal party or immediate family on where to stand or sit which is literally why you're supposed to do a rehearsal so my bridal party ended up standing in the wrong order and family sitting in spots they weren't supposed to. During the entire reception we saw the Captain, Bill ONCE meanwhile he claims he was there the entire time. No sir I only spoke with you for 30 seconds and you disappeared after we started complaining about your staff. And the maitre d, the most unprofessional person I've ever done business with. They made promises in our contract (champagne wall, allowing sparklers among other things) that they didn't make good on- guests were supposed to be greeted with champagne and Bellinis and we asked our guests, don't tell me they were given something that they weren't. During cocktail hour, a server dropped a WHOLE tray of pasta on my MOM, which forced my bridal attendant to attend to her for a solid 20 mins to help clean her up, further messing up our timeline. I was informed by the DJ (right before the reception entrance) that I was not able to have the sparklers I paid for because the venue wasn't allowing it anymore (news to me cause the venue could've told me days before). The one upside was the food was tasty, but they ran out of stuff as if they didn't even take into account the headcount they were given. They ran out of co2, pretzels for my exit station (majority of guests didn't even know we had them so they left without getting what was supposed to be their favor) and literally had to send staff to the store, the line for the bar was outrageous even with two bartenders for 120 people, come to find out one of the bartenders it was his second day on shift and he could not even make the simplest of cocktails. One of the bartenders was witnessed by guests having broken a glass in the ice bucket and not discarding the ice, so who knows if it made it into my guests drinks. They "forgot" that I had a caricaturist and didn't accommodate a space for him to work so they literally shoved him in a corner right by the line to the bar further crowding the area. I paid $75 extra to have a layer of chocolate cake which they didn't even serve to guests, everyone only got vanilla. And they lost my cat cake decoration which was on the second tier of my cake. AND at the end of the reception (which ended at 5pm) the bride for the next wedding was already in the bridal suite with her bridal party while ALL MY PARTYS BELONGINGS WERE STILL THERE! How easy it could've been for our things to go missing! And her guests were arriving as mine were just leaving, the venue was nowhere ready for the next wedding!! Why they would book two parties back to back like that is beyond me and I surely hope the other bride complained too. I lef

I had my wedding here on 11/22/2023 the wedding day went extremely smooth, the bridal attendant was especially wonderful and really took care of me and made sure everything went as planned. She helped me set up my center pieces and brought things on her own that I forgot like a cake topper and utensils to cut the cake she also made sure I was drinking and fed all night and even sent me home with leftovers which I appreciated. The vendors that they recommended were fantastic , I personally used the photographer and the DJ, and my maitre'd was also very kind.I picked windows on the lake because I was in a wedding a year before my wedding and I was able to see how they treated the bride and ran the event and needless to say they really care about you or make you feel that way on your special day. The food was delicious other than the salmon (the only complaint I got from guests) and the on site baker is fabulous I had guests coming up to me asking who made my cake and if they could have the information for the baker. The only gripe I had with the venue was that before the actual date of the wedding they did not do much communicating with me in regards to payments and seating charts and picking linens and the reception introduction paperwork. Actually when they called me a week before the wedding they assumed someone already did that with me and they did not so I had a bit to do a week before the wedding but honestly that little hiccup was nothing in comparison to the amazing day I hadI would 10/10 recommend having your wedding there, it had been an all around pleasant and beautiful experience

$14.12That was the amount of money I spent on nachos, nachos that I waited 45 minutes for. Nachos that they did not deliver because the waiter said it was for table #7, although there was not a table #7 at the venue. However, there was 2 table #9's. I watched the waiter walk around the venue several times, looking for a nonexistent table #7. After searching for several minutes, he would not accept the possibility that it was nachos for table 9. This was before the event I was attending was even crowded, while I was sitting at the only table where people ordered food. $14.12 to watch my food circle the venue, propped in the air by a waiter wearing white gloves, propped like baby Simba being shown to the tribe. The venue has great views, is a bit buggy due to being right on the water, I was covered in mosquito bites the next day. The nacho dilemma - which I now refer to as "the event" - wasn't even the worst part of the food service. I was able to wander the entire building, including employee only locations, as there wasn't a single employee to be found. After someone pointed me in the direction of where I can order food, I waited for about 5 minutes before a distracted and sweaty man asked what I would like to order, to which I obviously ordered the nachos, he then promptly forgot my extremely complex order of nachos, stared at me for about 15 seconds and asked what I would like to order, and what table I was seated at - which apparently didn't matter as they did not bring any food to it.$14.12 to learn that I will not be returning to this venue.

I went here for the first Lake Night Live. Vendors, live music and the event itself were great but the venue did not know what they were doing. The event went from 5pm-10pm but the band didn't go on til probably 8. I had gotten there at 5pm so the place was pretty empty as expected. Over the course of the next hour people start to fill in but not that many. I knew I had to leave at 7 so I figured I would grab a bite to eat. I went into the building at 6:05pm and it was like a ghost town so I accidentally walked all the way back into the offices and a server then directed me back to the front at the counter and reassured me someone would be by soon. The manager came up and asked what he could help me with. As I responded saying I just want an order of nachos he bent down working on something else. As someone who's been in the industry for 10 years I completely understand how overwhelming service can get but I would like to throw out that there was no line and still not many people at the event. He was distracted because their credit card machine was down and kept asking my table number. I feel the need to reiterate this was an out door event with vendors and everyone wandering so I didn't realize I had to go sit at a table and then go back up to order? But okay seems like they aren't used to the type of service and I'm very forgiving as I've had stressful days in restaurants myself. We finally placed the order and sat down. About 20 minutes went by and a server came out with nachos and mozzarella sticks. We watched him walk around the whole place twice looking very confused and proceeded to wave him over saying we though those were our nachos. He then told us, "no you're table 9 and these nachos are for table 7." You would think table 7 would only be two tables away right? I guess not. Then he started talking to his manager. During this time I noticed the table next to us was ALSO labeled table 9 so I went over to the runner and manager and asked if maybe their was a mistake on their part and those might in fact be my nachos? They told me no once again and reassured they'll be right out. They then took the food back to the kitchen. The manager came back out 5 minutes later with the same tray (probably cold now) and proceeded to walk around the tables twice looking confused and right back to the kitchen once again. We waited ten more minutes and it was now 6:55. I had to leave. Long story short manager was rude, completely non-responsive and discombobulated. Seems like they're used to serving buffets and had no clue what they were doing. I hope this event continues but they find a better venue and never go back there. Also white glove service for burgers and nachos? You'd think a place like that would know how to be professional. Not one other person was trying to claim the food that we kept saying was ours. I really don't get it. Anyway if you guys need an experienced and professional FOH manager i'm not opposed but first I would like to be reimbursed $14.12 for the nachos I never had.

The setting is above & beyond picturesque. And the grounds are so well maintained. We've been there 2 of the last 3 Wednesday night events & our only negative comment is....depending on your server will depend on whether you can give a 5 star rating or a 1. And believe me, we've experienced both.

My sister & brother in law just had their 20 year vow renewal at The Beach Club Estate. They live in North Carolina & she is in the military so they really had to rely on good communication with the staff. They were excellent! The bridal attendant went above & beyond. The rest of the staff were so nice & attentive. They made everything flow seamlessly even when it started to rain. Thank you!!
